"Gary does a great job making sure this house is CLEAN, and well-stocked! Not "in town", but not far, either - and so very, very quiet! Seeing the deer was fun, too. The grounds are also kept neat and nice, with lovely flowers and a forest for the back yard. Definitely hope to come back here again!"

"This cabin and property were perfect for our weekend get-away. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and bath were well stocked as well. The location is off the road enough for peacefully sitting around the fire ring. We also walked along a few pathways near the river. We highly recommend staying here!"

"Driveway is a little intimidating, but going slow is the key. The cabin is lovely and comfortable. Everything you need is there except a microwave, I’m not a big fan, so OK with me. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, silverware and dishes. My biggest compliment is that I didn’t want to leave! Could have stayed weeks, once I got used to be unconnected. Great place! "

"We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening."

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"
