Cozy Bedford Park Retreat

Relaxing home just outside the historic town of Bedford and surrounding communities. Within walking distance to downtown shopping, art galleries, restaurants and much more. Enjoy the knotty pine interior woodwork, all new furnishings and a recreation park just to the rear of the property. A great get-away experience. Please note: Bedford County Fairgrounds & Speedway is approximately one mile away. You will hear some noise on many Friday evenings during racing season. Ask for a schedule. Disclosing a video door bell camera at the front door and a camera in the window above the garage door.

The house was perfect for our girl's getaway. It is right near town so we were able to have a girls dinner on Friday night and then experience a relaxing spa experience. This property is lovely! Very clean and amazingly quiet being so close to the downtown Bedford area. Fully stocked kitchen and nice covered porch for coffee in the morning. We didn't use the firepit outside due to the rain, but there was plenty of dry wood to have a nice fire!

This was the perfect place for our weekend in Bedford

We came for the Jeep infestation and wanted to be close. This place was perfect, EXTREMELY Clean, decorated beautifully, the host was so kind and easy to reach. It was very quiet here. Right down the street from where we needed to be for our events. I highly recommend this place. I would book again for sure.

Friend's Weekend in Bedford

What a fantastic weekend and our stay at this beautiful home made this possible. Everything was perfect to include the cleanliness (my friend & I are very picky), all personal touches, snacks, comfortable beds & linens. There was not one thing we needed that wasn't provided. We enjoyed the front porch, and the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Ava was a great host and responded to our questions and suggestions for local restaurants, etc. We will definitely return to this home!!

Do not stay at a hotel - stay HERE!

We have stayed in many, many VRBO accommodations - as well as B&B's, but this was definitely one of the top three! Clean, spacious, very well stocked throughout the house and especially the kitchen, comfortable furniture - and did I mention CLEAN?!! A bit confusing finding the house initially, as it sits behind another house with the same address (host's home?), so you have to drive down the side of the front house to the VRBO house. Use your GPS, though, and you'll be OK. Spent two days here - wish it could have been two weeks!

This rental is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We loved that the host left some food and toiletries, and that the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We walked into town a few times and it’s an easy walk. There is a park behind the house and it was nice to see families using it but the park was not disruptive at all. A nice boy next door welcomed us when we arrived. Close to local attractions and the home has books in the living room desk that you can use to find stores, parks, walking and driving tours and more. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this home. Thanks to the host for sharing this lovely home with us.

Best Experience Ever

We have been to a number of rentals of this type. This has been by far the best experience. It's located down a gravel alley behind some other property. I had some trouble with the lock box but once we got in, we were really impressed. The house is very cozy with tasteful furnishings and decor. It was immaculate in every corner. (We have been to places where the pictures are nice but find there were spaces they never fixed or even cleaned.) The lighting was very good with overheads and table lamps and plenty of electrical outlets. The bedding was cotton, thick, and good quality. It was very well stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, tissues, even snacks. The appliances, plates and flatware were good quality, too. On top of all that, since there'd been snow overnight, we awoke to find someone had shoveled the walkway and around our cars.
