Weekend stay

Very nice cozy location for my wife and some friends to stay while attending a wedding nearby. The owner was super friendly and made check in and out easy. Would stay here again.

Hidden gem!

Spent the long weekend at this place and had a wonderful time! Karen is so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Wonderful access to our dock with everything we needed (kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, and more!). Will definitely be coming back!

What a perfect stay! The home was stocked so thoughtfully, we wanted for nothing (coffee, condiments, back up shampoo/conditioner, water toys, even games and stuff to do if we ended up with a rainy day). The posted photos do not do this listing justice, everything so was so fresh and clean from the paint, to the flooring, to the bedding, all of it!. And, Karen was the best host we've ever had anywhere. She was so kind and helpful, easily accessible but in no way intrusive. If you want a comfy place to stay, close to water (and kayaks!), with a helpful and kind host this is the spot! Thanks for everything, Karen!!! 3

We loved the little house, and Karen. Our hostess. We actually had a family reunion outside and brought in a porta-potty because there were nearly 50 of us. The place was so clean and the weather was almost perfect! Our reason for getting out of Florida in August.We definetly would recommend it to one and all!

Family visit

I can't recommend this property enough. Karen was an excellent host and the property met all of my (high!) expectations for cleanliness, as we were in town during the COVID pandemic visiting an immunocompromised family member. The property has plenty of games and water toys to keep my 3 and 6 year old kiddos entertained. Perfect location and very easy to get to. Karen has thought of everything to create a home away from home!

Reliable/welcoming

We can always count on the house to be clean and ready, even the temperature inside was considered and perfect when we walked in. Extra blankets, pillows, etc. are readily available. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, utensils, and basic spices, which is much appreciated. The hostess always makes a point to say ‘hi’ and makes us feel welcome. This was our third stay and if open when we plan future visits, will return to this property.

Round Lake heaven

Karen is a superb host and couldn’t do enough to help during our stay. Although the corona virus forced us to curtail our stay there, we will definitely book the house again as it has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. Karen is just a wonderful and caring person and is a credit to Round Lake residents.
