" We were notified before arriving on some minor issues. All was handled quickly and had no effect on our visit. The house was beautiful and clean, looked just like the pictures. The host went above and beyond for our stay. There was a welcome basket with snacks the kids enjoyed, a binder full of great information about the house and area, everything we could possibly need was there. We have rented from several other properties and you never know if soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. are provided. This house had it all. Little things you may have forgotten, floss or q-tips. Already there. It may seem silly but I loved how every switch and drawer was labeled. It took the guess work out and there was no time lost flipping things trying to figure out what does what. The hot tub worked , firewood was provided the for beach fire pit. We appreciate all the thought put in to this property to make an enjoyable vacation."

"We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very clean, well stocked (she thought of everything) and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more! She even made us a pot of homemade tea, which was delicious!! If you're traveling to the Manistique area, we highly recommend this cottage!!"

"We stayed at this rental June 21-27 for a family vacation. My daughter graduated high school and wanted to see Lake Michigan and we were lucky to find this gem! 8 of us total age ranges 43-12 and it was great for all of us. The lake water was too cold for adults but the kids didn’t care. Kayaks and billiards were a huge hit. The beach is amazing and quiet and private. No fighting for space or crawling through crowds like at FL. We read, we fished, we played games and we slept! The house was so clean and nice and stocked with everything you need, from paper towels and TP, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, to life vests and beach towels, toys…literally all the things! I way overpacked! We didn’t want to leave at all. The drive back to the house is long but that didn’t bother us at all. The views and the short walk to the water was worth long stretch of road to get there. If I was changing anything it would be the dates we visited, the weather was hit or miss with the temperatures, I could have gone for about 10 degrees warmer. We look forward to visiting again! "

"We use this Verbo as a main spot to come back to every night and we used it a couple times to grill and cook items. There is plenty of rooms however we did buy a fan. Hopefully if you were reading this, you will get to use it cause it does tend to get hotter upstairs. "
