I almost want to give it a bad review to keep it a secret, but the Hideout was great. Cute rooms, very private and just a lovely place to hang out and listen to the birds. We are definitely coming back.

The gravel road reaching the apartment has gotten worse since we last visited. Might be worth warning travellers who are in lower cars to be careful. Especially at night! Other than that it is always a magical stay in Mangawhai!
