"Looks great online but the reality was quite a disappointment. The cabin was not as well appointed as I had thought given the cost, all a bit cheap and plasticky. The floor was sort of buckled and uneven in places and as such the door was a challenge to close. The container got quite hot as the weather was so good, but there was no air conditioning and no fly screens, so opening the windows meant I had to contend with some big bugs late at night (moths and cicadas). "Beautiful scenic beach house, easy access to the beach. Newly built, quite clean, but there were a dozen huge annoying flies buzzing around the living room when we arrived. Also the second bedroom was locked from the inside with no way of unlocking it without a key, which we didn't have. Otherwise, the place was perfect, nicely decorated and designed. The motion sensor lights were a great feature, as well as the huge picture window."

"The communication about the layout of the property could have been better. There is no internal access to the downstairs rooms. There is no WIFI - in this day and age - you really should have WIFI (especially for when the weather is inclement in Golden Bay - which is often is). The TV is just a screen to play DVD's - there is no channel service. We weren't told you can't drink the water until the morning we got the check-in instructions - it was Easter Friday - so we couldn't buy bottled...
