"Walking distance to Waitomo caves. Barely any other guests because I came during the off season. They said checkout was at 10am but my bus to leave Waitomo didn’t come until 4 so the host let me stay in the room for an extra half day without any extra fees. Breakfast was good, good variety of stuff for the price. Great for solo travelers or families with kids. There’s a restaurant nearby that I went to for dinner, it was also great. "

Very whanau orientated, plenty of space, books and games for tamariki, spacious warm rooms and the additional blessing of a kent fire.Walk across the road to the local tavern to dine and wine, A foot stroll to the beautiful awa, 5 min drive to Mokau along the scenic moana, two minutes to the gas station and store and some of the wonderful historic icons eg post office and the bowling lawn a skip and a jump away.NO FAULTS absolutely gorgeous Bach/whare and to the beautiful HOST Jenny, thank you for your welcoming warm personal touch upon arrival as they were the most scrumptious freshly baked tarts.NGA MIHILOUISE"

"Absolutely loved it ! The view was awesome best thing to way up to and awesome sunrise/sunsets.Awesome place warm and cosy we stayed up stairs not sure what down stairs would be like for heat Dog friendly and my dog loved it so much, easy beach access down a lovely bushy walkThe only thing that was an inconvenience was having no tea towels so we had to wait for the dishes to drip dry"

"This is our second time at this bach and we love it, beautiful local natural attractions, fabulous beach and beach walks, excellent fishing, comfortable accommodation, everything you need for a relaxed or active getaway, whatever you feel like. Excellent communication with the property manager. We will definitely be back. Love it here."
