The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. "We absolutely LOVED every aspect of this place. Air conditioning ran ice cold which helped a lot during the heat wave. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked for a VRBO. The pool was perfect and the view spectacular. The hosts were kind and responded quickly to any inquiries. The walk up to the house is hard if you don’t have a car but you get used to it quickly and honestly I would walk three times as far for that view of the lake. Will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel is located in a good area - about 5 minute walk to Como Borghi train station (which you can arrive to from Milan) and close to a bus stop to get into Como town as well. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great - lots of choice, especially for vegetarians (pastries, yoghurt, fruit, eggs, cereal etc) The room was spacious and clean. We loved being able to use the pool on the rooftop and there are lovely views. It costs €2.50 for pool towels. A perfect base for relaxing and exploring Como too! Thank you for a lovely stay."
