She even gave us herbs from her garden, wine, EGGS from her chickens in addition to her well equipped home. The property is gorgeous on 10 acres of redwoods right by the coast, tranquil! A total vibe! More than big enough to accommodate our group of 10 with big open spaces and plenty of seating. AND on a clear day, you can see the ocean!"

And thank goodness for the wind-sheltered back patio with bbq, because I'm guessing our 3-day stay was one of the windier stretches of the summer. "I was in town on business, solo traveler. The VRBO page shows a different neighborhood. I grew up here so I know the neighborhoods well. I picked it because it showed the house in a decent neighborhood. When I got the address, the day before checking in, I realized it was nowhere near the location advertised. That could be VRBO’s fault. It’s located on a very sketchy neighborhood, with homeless sleeping across and up the street. Next door is a lot with an old building and abandoned RVs. The back...
