If you are looking for a place to crash while you ski or hike, then this place is probably fine for you. A perfect location and size for a couple. My husband and I rented this condo for a long weekend but due to how uncomfortable we were in the space only stayed one night. The place has been used HARD. Carpets are heavily stained, paint is peeing off in large patches on the walls, light fixtures do not work, and the smell punches you in the face when you open the door. The smell of mildew and something else we couldn’t identify was unbearable. I hope they put some serious work into this property because even though it was “tidy” it felt gross because of the carpets, and smell.
Clean but outdated and nearly falling apart. No linens for the pull out sofa or the two twin beds. Two small towels for the entire family. Pool was covered in snow and ice. Both hot tubs had non working jets.
This condo is in the perfect location, a 5 minute walk to the slopes. The skiing was amazing and we had a lovely time. The condo itself is somewhat dated, but well stocked.
The unit was clean and provided the essentials. However, the TV's as well as the remote control units were not working. After a long day of skiing it was disappointing to spend our evenings without entertainment.

All the basics
I didn’t appreciate the long contract of rules i had to sign only to find dated stained carpet upon my entry. All flooring and furniture coverings leaves much to be desired. I needed to ask a question about my reservation but got a message it was “ after hours” (Friday at 11am) and dont bug anyone unless there is an emergency. Microwave didn’t work. Kitchen light went out. Remote batteries for tv were dead or gone. The two hot tubs and pool area was nice. Unless you have a “ touch” feature on your debit/credit card, don’t even think about doing laundry. The laundry app was impossible. I felt pretty safe here. Towels were clean. Tub and toilet looked clean. Decor was “meh”. Bathroom sink/vanity needed brighter lights. Bed was comfortable.
It was not a bad stay but clearly maintenance is lacking. The same problems mentioned in reviews in 2021 and 2022 still exist. Ignore the management's comment saying that they would have taken care of them if you would have called, as I contacted them and their answer was we cannot take care of issues while we were there.
THE GOOD: Really good location. - An 8 min walk uphill to the base of Canyon Lodge with skis and boots, a 20 min walk downhill to the village with regular shoes. On the trolley route. Great Complex with spacious Hot Tubs and Sauna. Plenty of parking near entrance. The unit is really spacious and functional. The kitchen basically equipped with a newer fridge. Plenty of closet space, drawer storage and hangers. Comfortable Main Bed. A separate locker to store skis outside unit. Tennis Channel on TV - Irrelevant for most, but a great positive surprise for me. The heat of the unit maintains it warm regardless of the outside temperature. Enough towels for 2 people. Shampoo hand cream and bar soap provided. The person in charge of cleaning the hard surfaces (bath/kitchen/wood) did a good job.
THE BAD: Dirty old carpet, full of big dirt spots by the entrance, and loose in several places. Dirty main sofa with several stains. Dirty covers for the two twin day beds in the living room. I moved one of them to better fit the cover and discovered they did not vacuum behind that day bed. There was a disorganized pile of bad smelling blankets in the main closet. Two lamps in living room were not working, one did not turn on, the other did not turn off. The fire alarm was dangling from the ceiling. Fireplace door insulation strip was dangling. I decided against using it, for safety. There was a bad smell in the unit when we entered: Next morning I found out it came from the dishwasher. Seems someone cancelled a cycle without draining the unit and there was dirty/moldy water accumulated at the bottom of the dishwasher. An empty cycle solved the issue. The paint in the bath is peeling. The wood veneer in the bath and bedroom doors is peeling. Both TV’s remotes lack back covers and you have to tweak with the batteries for the remotes to work. The big TV in the living room is rather low quality. Wi-Fi Internet is spotty and there's little T-Mobile signal in the area, so communicating was sometimes a challenge.
I cannot understand the two 5 star ratings.
A pity the place is so poorly maintained as it could be a gem.
Great location, met bare minimum of other requirements
Location can't be beat; Had the basics but barely - it was dark, some things were dirty (e.g., coffee maker, some of the kitchenware) and we were missing sheets for the sofa bed. Space was comfortable.

Rental Unit Needs Basic Upkeep
The unit was kind of junky. The 2 lamps in the living room didn't work. One of the kitchen chairs was broken when we got there. The tv remote had no peice to hold the batteries in. TV barely worked and was horrible quality. The fan in the fire place didn't work. The place really needs some maintenance and new carpet. The location and complex is great though.
You could not have a much better location for Canyon Lodge. You could walk it if you wanna put in 5 minutes uphill. Great condo on first floor, everything worked. Nice little balcony, great for skiiers, its basic and not the most modern, pretty dated, but clean and totally worth the price.

Great location 5 minute walk to Canyon Lodge
Great unit for a small family. Kitchen comes fully stocked with most utensils you would need. You can walk to Canyon lodge. If there's enough snow on the streets, you can ski back to the condo from Canyon Lodge parking lot since its a slight downhill ride.
