"really helpful staff. offered recommendations for evening meal. room very spacious and spotless. beds very comfortable and lovely linen. tea coffee and little treats. very quiet at night. breakfast amazing. have to say best breakfast i have had in a very long time. would highly recommend and wiuld love to come back to this beautiful area"

"Sadly our room wasn’t great (304). The duvet and pillows were both incredibly uncomfortable/hard. The bed was a queen not a double so very small for a comfortable stay. There was a lot of noise, people walking above us would shake the light fitting with every step. Lots of noise outside early morning refuse collection. The weirdest thing though was that the light switch for the bathroom was just outside the bathroom door (fine) but if you turned it on, it also turned on another light in the main room so if you went at night time, the whole room was lit up. Staff on reception and at breakfast were friendly and professional and the two staff who were running the bar for our private family function were also superb. Sadly, the gentlemen running the main bar were incredibly rude and made us feel uncomfortable. Which is a shame, and but at all what you expect when staying away. "

"The room was clean and generally well maintained. The staff, particularly at breakfast were friendly and helpful. The breakfast itself was very tasty and good quality. There was a reasonable selection of breakfast items. Unfortunately we ended up with an interconnecting room, so despite the hotel being advertised as having sound proof rooms, it really wasn’t. We could hear our next door neighbours chatting and they woke us when they returned home late. The pillows were really uncomfortable so we didn’t get a great night’s sleep. "

"The view from the room was terrible. It was a concrete square with tyres. The furniture was plasticky. For the price really wasn’t worth it on top of that our sleep was disrupted by people fighting and the police being called. I wish I booked the Holiday Inn."
