"I had a good stay. You are about half a mile walk to the Ritz Carlton and bus stop and other major hotel resorts and the beaches are public. You can drink and eat at these hotels and bar beaches but you do feel kind of like an outsider. You can also book your boat tours and island trips right next to these resorts on the beach. I did that for snorkeling and got a half day trip on a boat for 60 bucks. I did not have a rental car. if I had to do it again I would probably rent a car to easily go out to restaurants etc. Hotel was clean but you get what you pay for. "

"Beautiful property, all modern appliances. Rooms were clean & comfortable with balcony’s. Some chairs needed cushions for comfort but great sunrises & sunset views on the balcony. Loved the wagon with beach chairs, cooler & kid toys for going to beach. "

"We had the best family vacation here in Aruba! Rueben & Geraldine definitely go above & beyond to make sure everything is wonderful. The air conditioner unit in the master stopped working correctly and they had it fixed while we were at the beach! What a blessing! Everything was so easy & check in and check out so seamless. They also answered all my questions ahead of time and even arranged a car rental. We really enjoyed Boca Catalina and Arashi beaches for snorkeling as well as Eagle Beach for relaxing. If we return to Aruba we will DEFINITELY want to stay here again!"

"We absolutely adored this gorgeous property with a perfect location and stunning views. After a simple check-in process, the light and bright entryway welcomed us to this serene retreat with a fully equipped kitchen, ample beach equipment (coolers, plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, and more!), and relaxing private pool with surrounding patio and plenty of loungewear and shade. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. In our case, for our smaller group, we enjoyed the extra space, but a larger group with multiple couples and/or family members would also have plenty of private spaces. The unit’s location is a mere 1-minute walk to Boca Catalina beach and its surrounding snorkeling coves making for an easy and gorgeous walk to view the sunset from the beach every night. A quick drive or walk just a bit north, takes you to the stunning Arashi beach, which provides an entirely different but just as wonderful beach experience. The unit is a quick drive away from a major grocery store and lots of restaurants, but it’s just far enough removed from the high rise hotels to create a peaceful retreat in a beautiful area. We had no issues arise during our stay, however our host Emily was communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this listing for anyone looking for the perfect blend of beach access, peaceful relaxation, proximity to adventure/amenities, and a stunning place to call “home” while visiting Aruba. "

"My wife and I stayed at Ocean Z Feb14-20. Our shower was missing a door. Water would flood the floor and soak the toilet. When I let the front desk know about the shower, I was told it had broken and was on back order. We were told there were no other rooms and we were given no solution. On the Ocean Z website, this room has a picture of a shower with two doors like normal. Ocean Z is now claiming this is how the shower is designed. Not true. We were given no inclination that they were working on a solution. So we left after one night. Unfortunately, Ocean Z is claiming we left without giving them a chance to fix the problem. Not true. Also, when I left Ocean Z, I was told the owner would call me. She did not. Not only that, but I had to call numerous times until I finally got ahold of her. When I did, she was very apologetic and offered me a weeks stay in the future. We didn't want to do that. I just wanted my money back. The owner told me to give her a couple days to get back to me. 25 days later she responded with another request for a couple more days. Then her partner emailed me a very dismissive denial of my request for a refund. So, I posted a review of my stay on another leading travel website. I am very disappointed with how I was treated after I was very patient waiting for them to refund my money. Look up my reviews. I stayed in room 13. The room I stayed in is the mini master queen pictured top left. Look at the bathroom shower."
