Loved Balinese beds. Pool was a bit cold for May. Housekeeper was excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Had fresh cooked omelette every day. Also had lunch which was really nice. Lacked some chill out music by the pool which would have enhanced the experience.

My wife and I stayed at Marina suites for a little vacation and loved every minute of it. The facilities were immaculately kept. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the rooms were beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

Good and bad and very bad
A really lovely place but they really need to work on certain aspects. Let's start with the good... The food is really good and the pool area is very relaxing with views looking out to sea. Now the rest... When you arrive, it is not clear you have to go to the main Marins Playa hotel opposite to check in. We booked a suite but were given a lower class room apparently by accident. When we asked about this, they said they would swap us over to a suite on the first floor where you couldn't see anything from the balcony! Instead they offered us just a 40 EUR discount - didn't even make up the difference in the room cost. The A/C in the room is very poor and underpowered... The room didn't go below 23 degrees at night, despite this being left on 24/7. The shower was blocked and flooded the room. We reported this and it took 2 days to resolve (not good in a 4 day stay). The best were soft but the mattress was quite thin, so if you were average or larger, it was sleeping on a bench. The customer service was not great - a case of take it or leave it. We gave a card when we booked in, but said we would use a different card to pay. 3 days into the 4 day stay they charged the card we didn't want to use without telling us. So, nice views and good food but for us, service is important. Would we stay again? No

Fantastic hotel, great position on the strip. Staff are friendly and very approachable. If you are looking for a hotel away from the English and German themed restaurants and bars, this place is perfect.

Nothing unique or special about this property. Stayed in 5 different hotels in a one week trip in Mallorca, all were great except for this one. The reception is located in a strange location not on the main floor, and the two ladies up front were rude. They can’t be depended on for anything. Other than that, the rooms were okay and what you might expect from a discount hotel (no tissues, no conditioners, no outlet adapters, etc)

Decent, all round style hotel.
We stayed in a sea view suite. The room was of a good standard and cleaned each day although by comparison to other hotels the daily touch ups were minimal. The room lacks an iron which can be rented from reception for a 10 euro deposit but not ironing boards. The room had a great sea view and big balcony. The pool area is lovely and includes a bar and restaurant, however the bar is cash only or billed to your room, which is useful during your holiday but if you stay after you’ve cleared your bill post check out then you will need cash, only a minor problem. The pool area offered a much more relaxed atmosphere than the rather busy beach and so we spent several days there. There is lots of signage around the pool stating you are not able to reserve sun beds however this is not enforced by the staff and so the large mattress style sun beds were often frustratingly reserved before breakfast. The included breakfast was decent with a fair selection of cooked and fresh food, plus an eggs/pancake station. Location wise the hotel is right in the middle of Cala bona and Cala millor and only a 5minute walk to either. The beach is also a short walk away. Overall I thought the hotel was good but lacked a bit of a wow factor.

Fantastic hotel, it was spotlessly clean. All staff were so plesant and polite. Great check in and the lovely lady showed us the facilities and our room. No rushing for sunbeds, they were available all day. Adults only was perfect and was so relaxing. Great breakfast, everything you need. Great location to suit everybody, really flat. Looking forward to going back very soon. Would highly recommend.

I was travelling with my friend to celebrate my birthday. The only thing I did not like about this hotel was that after we have checked into our room, they couldn’t accommodate our request to arrange our room to be a twin room, however I have requested this previous to our arrival. I had to call reception the following day to arrange our room. The hotel itself is lovely, very quiet and relaxing, great location, nice selection and very fresh food at the breakfast buffet. The pool is beautiful and perfect temperature. I have also received bottle of processor and greeting card for my birthday from the hotel. Special thanks to Eva at the restaurant and to Che at the pool bar, whom were always very attentive, and welcoming! Great and friendly staff. Thank you all for making our stay pleasant and memorable! :)

Marin’s Playa Suites
Across the road from main hotel complex with children, the suites are basically a bar, swimming pool and your room. No games, no entertainment, just peaceful relaxation. Breakfast excellent. Half board in main complex and looked lower standard. WiFi poor and repeatedly dropped after only seconds. Informed reception but no improvement. Rooms comfortable spacious and very clean. Expensive but worthy of 4star rating. Classy

outstanding hotel in a fantastic location.
Great hotel,in great location with wonderful sea view rooms. All the hotel staff, reception, dining room staff and cleaners were so friendly and helpful and did a great job. All areas of the hotel and swimming pool area were spotless. Special mention to the receptionist who dealt with us, booked us in and then showed us to our room and took one of our cases, so friendly. We had our breakfast in our section of the hotel sat next to the swimming pool, very nice. The staff again did an excellent job. Special mention to Alejandro who did a great job and was so friendly. Eva also and the other waitresses whose names not sure of.

Overall a great place to stay. I was lucky to find a room here only one day ahead of a spontaneous trip. The room was clean and in great condition. There is a backdoor near the pool to the "boardwalk". It's an easy walk to the main beach to the south, or to the lagoon beaches to the north. The pool and breakfast was great. There is a nice supermarket adjacent to the sister hotel to the west. Only downside was some confusion about the room keycard. I had to go back several times before they sent someone to repair the lock battery. The first time, I should have told them it was flashing red and green.

I love this hotel! It's super chilled in the adults only building and the adults only restaurant is a nice and civilised start to the day for breakfast! - albeit better if it was in the main building rather than in the main complex across the road. Bar snacks and drinks good value, particularly for a hotel, and everything you need is available in the complex - you hardly need to go out! Very happy with standard of comfort and cleanliness, could not fault. I have family nearby so an added bonus for me is being able to take my young nieces to the family side to use the pools and facilities. I can't wait to return - again!
