Palma Nova Son Matias Hotel
Hotel is excellent. The best part is it’s location on the beach. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and amenities. Rooms are modern and has a lot of storage space. The hotel mainly geared towards elderly guest. We were in minorities but we stayed out a lot of time. Staff at the reception are extremely helpful and pleasant. Hotel has bus stop less than a minute away and buses go to airport and other resorts nearby.

As a regular visitor to the island this was the first time staying at Son Matias and will definitely come back again in the future. Just one criticism is the allowing of smoking on the balconies, as a non smoker the smell of smoke coming through the door was the pleasant at all, so maybe only allow smoking from last two or three floors.

Great hotel right on the beach with many delicious restaurants nearby. Management surprised my girlfriend with a bottle of sparkling wine for her birthday (Must got details from passport). It was a nice little touch. There is nightly entertainment but never took part as we went out every night. If you want a relaxing and quiet holiday, this hotel is your choice

The hotel was clean I did not like the extra charges for the safe etc as they should be standard in a hotel that has them food was okay I had dinner once and did not really like it

the hotel is fabulous, our room had an amazing view as do all the rooms, the pool area and bar great and the sun loungers are the most comfortable I have every had.Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice and all the staff friendly and courteous,did find it unusual though that you couldnt change the temp on the aircon in your own room, would definitely stay here again

Great for the older age groups.
The hotel was very nice, extremely clean and in an amazing location. We thought adult only meant no kids, but this was adults only and seem to cater more for the older age groups, especially the entertainment.

The sea view
Sea view is amazing, the rooms are clean and modern with tea and coffee facilities . A fridge to keep your beer cool and sky tv.. Would definitely recommend

Gorgeous, friendly, happy hotel
My trip was a weekend away with my mum for my 30th without the kids. Was perfect from start to finish. Hotel absolutley gorgeous. Our flight actually got cancelled and we are currently now in another hotel courtesy of easyJet but we feel it's absolutely nothing on where we have just been at son matias beach. Will definatley return and recommend.

Fabulous!
We have just returned home July 2018 after staying at this hotel and we wanted to write about our experience as it was fantastic. The location is amazing, how anybody could criticise this hotel is beyond us. We have stayed in 5 star hotels that weren’t as well managed or as comfortable as this hotel. This was our first “adult only” hotel experience, but the age range in the hotel was mixed with lots of younger people and the majority of other guests were on a repeat visit, some as many as 17 and we could quite see why. Recently renovated, with beautiful bathrooms, incredibly hard working and acccomodating staff. The hotel faces the sea front and was superbly quiet at night, a wonderful nights rest. Will definitely return.

Lovely situated hotel close to the beach.
We arrived early and found the lady in reception very pleasant and helpful. Our room on the second floor was ready! Lovely sea view and exceptionally clean rooms. Beds are a little hard but that could just be my opinion. Breakfast we were spoiled for choice (appears to cater for mainly British guests). As this is an adult only hotel there appeared to be varied entertainment but we didn't stay in so can't really comment. We were only at the hotel for a few day's so more wanted to explore and with the situation of this hotel it was easy to do so. Would definitely stay here again!

Ok stay
My stay was ok but the half board where you don't get a soft drink with dinner think is terrible you pay £230 a night for half board you have to pay for a bottle of water with dinner I think is terrible and 2 euro for a small bottle of Coke other than that everything else about the hotel was great food was amazing I've never tasted Bananna ice cream so good and as ever other people say about this hotel is the entertainment team Ian and Michael are so funny made my weeks holiday to remember we only stayed in hotel one night and it was Abba Again Tribute act and they were fantastic and the sun loungers were so comfy

Great location on the Beach
We just had one day on the island, but this was a great overnight base. The view and location was spectacular. It seems to cater to the 50+ age group, but that included us so no problem. The breakfast was first rate. It was everything I'd hoped for.
