From the outside the hotel looks clean and well cared for. We booked a sea view room for a week and on arrival on Saturday was given room 109, which although facing the sea, because of the low level and close heavy foliage it was a dark room with no sea in sight! We ask to be moved but they said not possible until Tuesday. Because of the trees and bushes we struggled with mosquitoes in this room and couldn't really open the doors/windows. However after we moved to room 416 this was no longer an issue as it was high, had a clear sea view and a sunny aspect, now it was a pleasure to sit out on the balcony! Both rooms had identical layout. Both rooms were spacious, clean and had bright decor but had been well-used and were a little shabby and worn, rusty mirrors, hard noisy beds and weak air conditioning. The kettle, toaster, hot plate and microwave were useful but the accessories/utensils were battered. Hairdryer and shower were good. Cleaners were efficient and friendly. The location is very nice, easy route down to the beach and not far from a few shops, cafes and restaurants. The complimentary beach bag was useful. Overall a good hotel, still very popular, but could do with some upgrading. This is a nice part of Palma Nova, quieter than some other nearby areas, we enjoyed exploring the locality. Don't forget your binoculars if you opt for a sea view, lots to see. Good choice if you can get it at a reasonable price.
