The house was beautiful and the view from deck amazing, loved it . The only concern was the driveway into property, was hard to get into and out .

Pleasantly surprised
More than adequate items supplied, not much to bring. The views and location were excellent, parking was tricky but manageable after we decided to reverse in and drive out forward each time. The birds and wildlife were amazing and kept us entertained. A box of parrot mix on arrival would have been handy. Fabulous TVs in all rooms with plenty of choice of programs as well as Google nests and internet. The town and surrounds were delightful particularly the Pelicans. Would definitely consider a return visit.

Quiet haven
Excellent accommodation with fantastic views. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Wé are two single ladies and we loved each having our own bathroom. We enjoyed having the birds visit us each day but were disappointed that Elvis did not put in an appearance. Driveway caused us some problems so would advise drivers of 2 wheel drive vehicles to park on upper service road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Haven at Hillstop
Light, airy and comfortable with fabulous views over the lake. The generous living area and two bathrooms make it super-good for two couples. The driveway is steep, but on-street parking is easy. We are return visitors, loving every minute of our sojourns at Hillstop.

My partner and I had a wonderful week staying at Hillstop…we particularly loved the amazing views and the beautiful birds who visited each day. The house itself was well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed being at the quieter end of town and the proximity to the top lake.
