This hotel seemed to be recently renovated so everything was in great condition. The staff was exceptionally friendly and service was great. Hotel is not a "strip" hotel, but bus transport is right outside that can take you downtown and to the bus station to connect to other areas. 2great supermarkets are 5 minutes walk from the hotel so you can stock up on room snacks very easily. Breakfast was very good with excellent continental as well as eggs and bacon options. Many types of pastries, breads and fruits were available as well as cerials, cheeses and lunch meats. Pool was clean and refreshing after a day out. Only thing I could suggest to improve the pool bar menu to include more snack options for people who want to eat a quick meal at that facility. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel as a base from which to explore the rest of Crete. A

My family and I stayed at this hotel as it was close to Heraklion airport and not directly in the town centre, hence the reason for the booking. Our room was narrow and not spacious, facilities like making tea/coffee in the room was not present, so lacking those touches that you appreciate really. Nice thing to note, no charge for using the safe in the room, but just wished it had been drilled into the wall… Breakfast was just OK, but extra touches like homemade jam or say mixed nuts/fruit for your cereal etc would have been nice. It was just a little plain tasting overall. Fruit juice is not fresh and comes from a machine, too much sugar to it. Will say though staff are welcoming and helpful to your needs. A thank you to them. We hired a car for our holiday and luckily you can park off road, this was handy. Overall a reasonable hotel which was fairly priced for a short stay.

Comfortable stay

It's a good all round hotel for a stay in Heraklion. Hotel is comfortable, bed was so so. Breakfast was really good. Great pool, big and deep. Not far from the beach. Bus service close by to get into the centre for shops and entertainment.

Great place to stop over airport and fab pool

Used as a stop over before flying home. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was huge and a real highlight. Nice pool bar great for snacks and drinks. Short walk to beach which was also convenient. Much better than photo on hotel.com!

Nettes Hotel

Familiäres Hotel mit positiver Entwicklung. Man merkt, dass es älter ist, aber Zug um Zug renoviert wird. Das Personal war nett und bemüht, das Frühstück ausreichend in Angebot und Umfang, die Bäder top neu, die Zimmer augenscheinlich im verschiedenen Stadium der Renovierung (wir hatten ein älteres), der Pool und Poolbar hervorragend. Die Lage ist zentral und mitten zwischen Hauptverkehrsstraßen, also nichts für Ruhesuchende, dafür mit guter Busanbindung, hervorragenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und kurzem Weg zum Strand. Wirklich gefehlt haben uns nur einheimische Restaurants in der Nähe.

My room was very narrow with 2 single beds. also was on the back side next to the main rode so was also noise.. perhaps other rooms are better... but keep in mind that the hotel is quite old.. The good thing is that there is a bus outside of the hotel that goes to the main center in about 18min.

Wir hatten dieses Hotel wegen der späten Ankunft ausgewählt, da wir so spät nachts nicht mehr in unsere eigentliche Unterkunft in Rethymno fahren konnten und wollten. Dafür war es ganz ok. Das Personal sehr freundlich an der Rezeption und das Frühstück recht gut. Für einen Urlaub würden wir es nicht unbedingt wählen...

Wir waren 7 Tage im Vanisko Hotel. Unser Check-in und Check-out ging problemlos und zügig. Das Hotelteam ist sehr organisiert. Alle sind sehr sehr nett. Uns wurde sogar am letzten Tag ein Drink ausgegeben. Das WLAN hat in allen Bereichen funktioniert. Nach dem Check-out durften wir noch uns im Haus aufhalten bzw. im Pool schwimmen und uns wurde noch ein kleines Zimmer, zum Duschen vor der Abreise, angeboten. Die Preise für die Getränke sind nicht überteuert fürs Essen aber schon. Trotz, dass wir im 4. Stock waren, hat man leider viel von draußen gehört. Gestört hat uns extrem, dass die Dusche sehr klein war und das kleine Bad immer unter Wasser stand. Frühstück war nichts besonderes. Der Strand ist sehr schön und auch nicht überfüllt. Fußweg ca. 8 Min. Für einen kleinen Preis erhält man zwei Liegen und zwei Drinks.

Una notte a Heraklion

Hotel nella strada che porta al centro di Heraklion. Semplice da trovare davanti ad un supermercato. Il parcheggio adiacente all'hotel era piccolo ma sufficiente. Colazione abbondante e staff gentilissimo.

Belle situation géographique.. Hotel un peu bruyant construit entre deux routes avec pas mal de circulation. Hôtel idéal pour y passer la nuit et partir en excursions. Petit manque d éclairage dans salle de bains. Sinon, hôtel faisant parti des moins cher avec beau rapport/qualité/prix. Personnel acceuillant, chambre propre avec serviettes remplacées tous les jours et draps, 3 fois sur la semaine.
