When is the best time to go to Malbato?

The best time to visit Malbato is during the dry season, which runs from November to May. During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny weather and calm seas, which are ideal for enjoying Malbato's beautiful beaches and engaging in water activities like snorkelling, diving, and island hopping. The average daily temperature hovers around 28-32°C, making it superb for sunbathing and exploring. For those who prefer slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, the shoulder months of November and May are particularly good. You'll still have excellent weather but might find the popular spots a bit less busy, offering a more relaxed experience. The wet season, from June to October, brings higher humidity and more frequent rainfall, including the possibility of typhoons.

"The whole place is beautiful. The sunset at the serena pier was outstanding. Had a few drinks with our friends and laid on the bean bags for a few hours til the sun set. We did try all 3 restaurants and the food is amazing. The staff of the hotel and restaurant are very friendly and accommodating as always. I forgot the F&B Manager’s name but he was very friendly and recommended a few must try items. Room was nice and clean. Free breakfast also. Just had a hard time with the wifi plus no...

Zuri Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean and quite nice. The staff were very attentive and restaurant was good. We enjoyed our stay."

Fernvale Leisure Club and Resort

8/10 Good

"In contrast to El Nido there is little attraction to staying in Central Coron. So being 10/15 mins tricycle ride ( at 60p per person) is close enough. The rooms were clean and spacious with excellent AC and good quality TV if you want to hook up a lap top for a late night movie. Breakfast was adequate but tailored to local guests and got tired after a few days. The stand out for us was the OUTSTANDING pool, which any 5 Star hotel would be proud to have. It’s really a little haven and chance to total relax from the Island hopping. As usual in the Philippines the staff are great. Warm friendly and always willing to the extra mile. The kitchen is open until 9 and serves a broad range of dishes to meet most people’s taste, either on your balcony or on the pool side terrace. The pool alone was worth paying the slight premium to more central hostels/pensions and for couples and families it’s perfect. Thanks to all the staff for making our trip so relaxed."
