8 Bedroom, 5 1/2 Bathroom Vacation Home Near Lava Hot Springs Idaho

10/10 Excellent
"We had a family reunion with 24 people for 5 days. We had a great time. The kitchen was wonderful for a group our size and very well stocked for cooking for a crowd. Many thoughtful additions like extra seating, disposable food containers, large pots etc, food pantry for storage. The second kitchen fridge/freezer was especially helpful to hold all the food we brought. This house is made for feeding and housing a crowd. One of the best features was all of the shade in the yard!! No matter the time of day we had shade that made being outside so much better. We played in the yard every day. Swing set was great for keeping kids happy. We brought a small bounce house and we were set. We had room for corn hole, ladder ball, Kan Jam and a slip-n-slide all at once. The wild turkeys and domestic ducks were extra fun for the kids. (watch where you step) We gathered in the evenings and our group fit in both the main level or upstairs living spaces quite comfortably. The upstairs was a little warm in the evening (early August) . The host was very responsive and helped with every need we had. They were very accomodating and obviously wanted us to enjoy our stay. Even after we vacated, we left a charging cord and the host was super helpful in getting it returned. We enjoyed time at Lava Hot Springs and at The Sanctuary for getting in the water."

"We were able to chain earlier than planned without any problems. The place was roomy, cutely designed, great amenities, lovely fireplace outside, and the main loft bedroom view was stunning. We will definitely stay here again"

Plaza Motel

Plaza Motel

8/10 Good
"We spent one night at the Plaza Motel, on a road trip from Montana to California. The motel is what we expected: fairly basic, with parking right outside your room door. The room was clean and well-maintained though a bit dated. There was a coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator, which we had to turn on when we got to our room (it was a very small refrigerator so it got cold pretty fast). There are ice and vending machines. It looks like there are picnic tables and a grill on the lawn; we did not use them."

8/10 Good
"Good facility close to town but the kitchenette was lacking. We would have appreciated a toaster and a bit more than a hot plate to cook on. The coffee maker was a nice touch but difficult to pour water into without spilling. The bed was comfortable but the legs on the very edge of the frame resulted in several stubbed toes. Would I come back? Only if a better property was not available."
