"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. "Excellent campsite, the perfect size for us as we are not a fan of large campsites. It is was fairly quiet and the accommodation (we stayed in a cabin) was clean, modern and reasonably well spaced. It was very well equipped and little items like a dish cloth and washing liquid ect just make the difference. It is just a really well done site. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Our 3 year old loved the pool."

"This hotel was in a fabulous location, we had a view of the river and it’s really close to town without being close enough to be annoyed by the noise from bars and restaurants. We had a family suite which was lovely and the bunk beds were round the corner from our bed allowing me to read by my phone light whilst the kids went to bed. It was clean with a good shower. Although there is no onsite parking there is free parking opposite which works well. No complaints from us - we thought it was fabulous."

"We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The location was fantastic with everything we needed on the doorstep. As mentioned in previous reviews, it does have quite a few stairs to climb to get to it, but the view is worth it. We stayed with my 7 year old and 2 year old but all slept on the same floor (sofa bed in the living room) so didn’t need the bedroom up the spiral staircase, so that was fine. Our host was lovely and responsive and the apartment was clean and tidy. I loved the decor, it was interesting and added character to it. I would definitely return. Thank you for having us ☺️"
