Hotel owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. We were able to store our bikes in a secure area. Having a kitchen was awesome. Seems fairly recently renovated and has modern bathroom and room interior. Great locarion, basically in the downtown core and all major sights are walkable. I would stay here again. Recommended!

Excellent location in Mainz and very clean hotel. A bit sparse with furniture and decor (the room could have used seating other than the chairs at the table) but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The entrance is around the back of the property and there are a lot of stairs, but this was a great stop in Mainz.

This hotel is very well located to everything. It is quiet in spite of being part of a restaurant/bar complex. It was very hot when I visited and although a fan was provided, I really think they need to invest in air conditioning. That would make the price go up, though I am sure. The room was quite large and the staff very friendly.

Comfortable and convenient
A tad hard to find, but worth finding, and an easy walk to tons of sights and eating possibilities. The shower is a particular pleasure, with a rainfall shower head and a hand-held option, and the towel warmer really keeps the towel warm for you.

Good for the price.
The accommodations were very nice for the price. However, there was no daily cleaning and resupply of towels. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

We had a hard time FINDING the check in area at this hotel. After we finally did, the room was nice and offered everything we needed. Not having someone on staff in the evening for check-in was a bit frustrating. Also, it would have been nice to have a shuttle to the cruise ship instead of having to call a taxi.

Great location
Well located hotel, just a short walk from the square, the shops, the Rhine River and good food. Recently renovated and well done. Has a kitchenette including microwave. Modern styled bathroom.

Hotel is an apartment.
There is no front desk. Had to find staff by entering kitchen of restaurant at the address. Suite was clean but food was left in fridge, no hand soap and half a role of toilet paper was available. Emailed to ask for service and towels were changed, t.p. Was provided. But suite was really nice and extremely close to great shopping so we were still happy.

Great old-city location, but with many steps
Great location; clean as any hotel can possibly be. There was no reception desk, nor any employee there when we departed in the morning. There is no elevator and the many steps were a serious issue, due to the weight of our luggage and the fact that we are both older (68 and 75).

Good to stay at Havana
Good location, very close to everything you need e.g KD boat, bus, train station, local fresh market opening every Tue, Fri and Sat and Penny supermaket. Nice restaurants, city shopping center is just around the conner. The room is clean and very comfort.

Not for summer
Good location but very noisy. No air conditioning so you have to keep windows open. Noise level at night is intolerable with main street just a sidewalk width away from our room and heavy traffic all night. on the other side of the room was a balcony bar and restaurant just outside our room. No sleep possible with noise until 2 AM. we checked out afet 1st night of 3 night stay. May be OK in winter when windows can be closed.

A little gem
A lovely hidden gem with friendly staff who want to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Very modern, clean, newly renovated apartments in a beautiful old building. Perfect location close to the promenade along the Rhein and old town square / Cathedral. Soap and body wash provided but no shampoo. Owner also recently opened a Catalonian (Spanish) restaurant downstairs, which has a lovely atmosphere and a great menu. I stayed 3 nights and am very sad to be leaving! Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet. Nur das Bett war für uns etwas was schmal. Ich glaube es war ein 1,60 Bett. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.

Hyvä huoneistohotelli erinomaisella sijainnilla.
Iso toimiva huone ja erittäin iso kylpyhuone. Ilmastointilaite löytyi ja minikeittiö. Lähellä jokirantaa ja vanhaa kaupunkia. Yhteyskäytössä oleva terassi sisäpihan puolella.

Gut mit Abstrichen und einem Vauxpas
Obwohl es sich um ein schönes altes Haus handelt, hat es innen den Charm eines modernen Appartmenthauses. Hell, sauber, zweckmäßig ohne Flair. Treppenhaus in Weiß mit dunklen Steinstufen. Appartment in weiß mit grauem Steinboden in Laminatoptik. Boxspringbett, moderne Küchenzeile, modernes Bad. Soweitr alles OK. Die Lage direkt ander Altstadt ist super. Die Haupstrasse vor dem Gebäude jeoch laut. Fenster müssen z.B. beim Fernsehen zu bleiben. Es gibt Handtücher, Shampoo, und einfache Küchenausstattung. Gut finde ich, daß es einen Tischventilator und einen Föhn gibt. Leider ist das App. mit Stühlen mit Metalgestellen ausgestattet. Also Metalstuhl auf Steinboden auf Altbaudecke. Wenn jemand einen Stuhl verrückt, hört sich das nach einem Presslufthammereinsatz an. Auch nicht toll ist die sehr knappe Küchenausstattung. Genau 2 Tassen, Messer, Löffel usw. Der Vauxpas: Am Abreisetag läßt man seinen Schlüssel (für Haus und App. Tür auf dem Tisch liegen und zieht die App. Tür zu. So getan. Um dann festzustellen, das die Haustür abgeschossen war. Die wohlgemerkt auch der Notausgang ist. Also eingesperrt. Kein vor kein zurück. Unter der Servicenummer war niemand erreichbar. Gott sei Dank kam nach 10 Minuten zufällig eine Mitarbeiter und hat uns befreit.

Very nice central location. Can be noisy if you have to open windows during summer time (big street). Otherwise, it's very confortable and very clean. To recommend. No reception so one needs to arrange with the landlord for the keys.

Angenehme Unterkunft, bequemes Bett, modern renoviertes Zimmer - jedoch etwas spartanisch eingerichtet. Hotel bietet nur Übernachtung an, kein Frühstück - dafür war das Zimmer jedoch mit einer Küchenzeile mit Töpfen und Geschirr, Tee, Wasserkocher, Herd und Kühlschrank ausgestattet. WLAN ist inklusive, Personal ist sehr nett, Parkplätze sind gegenüber im öffentlichen Parkhaus ausreichend verfügbar. Die Lage in Mainz ist hervorragend.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße zwischen Rhein und Altstadt. Fußläufig ist beides gut zu erreichen.Geräumige Zimmer plus Küchenzeile, was gut ist, da im Hotel kein Frühstück serviert wird. Ist man müde genug, macht einem die laute Straße nichts aus. Das Zimmer hat keine AC, kann vielleicht bei heißen Temperaturen unangenehm sein. Anmeldung erfolgt per Telefon, da Rezeption nicht besetzt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Empfehlenswert für Stadtbesichtiger.

Romslig leilighet sentralt i Mainz
Leilighet ligger veldig sentralt med kort vei til sentrum, katedralen og museer. Reint og romslig leilighet. Det var veldig varmt under vårt besøk. Ingen air condition så det ble varmt og støy fra veien utenfor siden vi måtte ha vinduene åpne.

Trevligt lägenhetshotell i centrala Mainz
Centralt beläget lägenhetshotell. Nära till torget och nära till strandpromenaden längs med floden Rhen. Rymliga rum med förstklassiga sängar. Tyvärr är trafiken utanför fönstret stundom mycket livlig och kan störa nattsömnen. Hotellet saknar AC. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Ägaren driver restaurangen som är i bottenvåningen. Där kan du dansa salsa och äta katalanska specialiteter. Gott och trevligt! Jag bor alltid på Hotel Havana när jag är i Mainz.

Der er et stort problem på Hotel Havana. Men der er også meget godt at sige. Personalet var supervenligt og opmærksomt, check-in og check-out gik let, beliggenheden er perfekt og det rene værelse var velfungerende, stort og funktionelt. Badet var i topklasse. Problemet er, at det er svært at sove på værelset, hvis det er sommer. Luften står helt stille og hvis man åbner vinduerne vælter gadestøjen ind. Hotel Havana ligger lige ud til en meget trafikeret gade og selv med ørepropper er det umuligt at sove med åbne vinduer. Det havde været godt, hvis der var aircondition, men man kan i stedet sove med lukkede vinduer og køleskabet åbent - det hjælper ikke på luftcirkulationen, men sænker rumtemperaturen et par grader over natten. Blot et tip, som jeg ikke selv benyttede mig af.

Super zentral gelegenes und gut erreichbares Aparthotel in der Innenstadt. Perfekte Lage zu einem Event in der Rheingoldhalle und zum Besuch der Innenstadt. Der Rhein liegt auf der anderen Straßenseite, in der Umgebung zahlreiche / zahllose Restaurants. Appartement mit Kitchenette funktional und modern eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung könnte um einen Ganzkörperspiegel ergänzt werden.

Super Hotel, hervorragend ausgestattet, modern und zentral geldgen. Einziges Msnko: Keine Parkmöglichkeiten und Zimmer zur Strasse hin etwas laut. Andonsten habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde es weiterempfehlen.
