This wonderful timber clad barn conversion offers superb country scenery and immaculate accommodation catering for the needs for families and friends who are looking for a comfortable retreat in the heart of Kent.

The barn has been tastefully decorated with that home from home feel whilst being spacious and family friendly with open plan kitchen and fully opening French doors that lead out onto a covered patio and enclosed garden - superb for a kick about with a football or simply a lazy afternoon in the sunshine.

Located in the heart of the countryside with great access around Kent by car in all directions and for those wanting to stay close by the local pub is a winner for the locals with some delightful English Fayre. Surrounded by woodland, orchards and arable paddock complete with grazing horses, this is a superb holiday venue.

Tilmangate Farm is a credit to the owners eye for detail offering everything with a contemporary and welcoming self catering property with families in mind and creature comforts including underfloor heating and TVs and DVDs in every room.

Harvest View is one of two barns that are side by side but each have a patio area off the lounge with furniture to sit and enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside. The inter-connecting soundproof doors separate the two side by side homes (Harvest View and Hay Fields). These doors must stay closed at all times to remain soundproof.

We really enjoyed staying here.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was very spacious and had a really well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. A very quiet location looking over fields. Juliet was very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of things to visit in the area and only an hour away from the coast. We stayed here for 3 nights with our two kids aged 2 and 4.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our two kids aged 2 and 4. The cottage was very clean, modern and spacious! As the area was quite remote it was nice and peaceful. Kids absolutely enjoyed running around the garden. Our host Juliet was absolutely lovely and had great recommendations on places to visit nearby. Not far from local attractions like Leeds castle only 10mins drive away, Bedgebury bike trail half an hr away and Hop Farm not far too. Plenty of child friendly things to do. Co-op also a few minutes drive away from the cottage. We had a fantastic time overall! Would definitely come back to visit again one day.
