  • Come stay with us at our family cottage on Ahmic Lake, where we invite you to experience the rustic charm and modern comforts of our cozy abode. Originally built in 1969, our cottage is nestled on a private road amidst other picturesque cottages. There are plenty of nearby activities within walking distance, and even more to explore in downtown Magnetawan. Plus, we're conveniently located just outside of Ahmic Lake Resort. Furry friends are welcome too!

Magnetawan is a very old place and so is this cottage. Robinson Road is part of a tradition of pioneer cottages from the turn of the 20th Century. As such, the area has a creepy feel to it. The cottage has evidence of water damage and dank smells throughout. The waterfront is gorgeous and could make up for things if you are not sensitive to odours. There is a magnificent pine tree overhanging the front deck, however it drops an unhealthy amount of pine sap, and the sap is everywhere you sit and walk at the front of the cottage. The plumbing is great! Wifi so-so. Bring sage and burn it often inside the cottage.
