About this property

Secluded Mountain View Home with Windowed Sunroom

  • Summary:

An elevated mountain retreat with panoramic views from a windowed sunroom, a stone fireplace for cool evenings, and three bedrooms, each with its own private bath. Stays under 28 nights also include free daily tickets to attractions like Biltmore and ziplining.

    The Space:

Perched above Maggie Valley on an elevated lot, this three-bedroom home is built around its views mountain scenery guests repeatedly call the best part of their stay. A windowed sunroom with a vaulted wood ceiling frames the ridgeline for morning coffee, and a stone fireplace anchors the living room for evenings after a day on the trails or slopes.

Each of the three bedrooms has its own private bath: two spacious king bedrooms with mountain views and outdoor access, plus a third bedroom with a queen and a twin bed for extra flexibility. The kitchen is fully equipped with a French-door refrigerator, stainless appliances, and quartz counters, opening to a dining area for group meals. A dedicated workspace and high-speed Wi-Fi cover remote work, and a couple of stand-up arcade games are on hand for guests who want easy entertainment between outings.

Outside, a covered deck and balcony offer more spots to take in the view, and a grassy yard with a picnic table sits among the trees. An in-home washer and dryer, central heat and air, and garage parking with extra driveway space round out the practical amenities. Every stay also includes free daily attraction tickets to places like Biltmore, axe throwing, and ziplining for stays under 28 nights.

Maggie Valley's restaurants, Cataloochee Ski Area, and Soco Falls are all a short drive away, making this a comfortable base for exploring the Smokies, whether your days are full of hiking and skiing or you'd rather stay in and enjoy the view. Note that the home sits at the top of a steep private drive with a sharp turn, and pets aren't permitted.

    Guest Access:

You’ll receive a smart lock code via email 2 days before check-in.

    The Neighborhood:

This home sits above Maggie Valley, a small town in Haywood County tucked into the Great Smoky Mountains. It's an elevated setting — guests often mention the peaceful atmosphere and the mountain views as highlights of their stay — while still being a short drive from everything the valley has to offer.

For food, Joey's Pancake House is about 4 minutes away for breakfast, with J Arthur's Restaurant (5 minutes), Guayabitos for Mexican (6 minutes), Pop's Place for Southern barbecue (7 minutes), and Brickhouse Burgers & Pizza (8 minutes) covering casual dinners.

Outdoor and local attractions are close by car: Wheels Through Time Museum, a vintage motorcycle collection, is about 6 minutes away; Ghost Town in the Sky, a former amusement park with scenic overlooks and ridge hiking, is about 7 minutes; Cataloochee Ski Area is around 12 minutes, with skiing in winter and scenic drives and elk-spotting in warmer months; and Soco Falls, a roadside double waterfall hike, is about 13 minutes out. For a full day out, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is roughly 40 minutes away.

Maggie Valley is known for its mountain scenery — streams, forests, and hiking and biking trails — along with seasonal events like the Maggie Valley Oktoberfest, the Moonlight Race Series, and the Hillbilly Jam. A car is necessary to reach dining and attractions from this elevated setting.

    Getting Around:

A car is best for reaching town, trails, and the ski hill—most everything’s under a 15-minute drive.

    Other Things to Note:

Bookings under 28 days include 1 free ticket per day to local attractions, powered by Xplorie. Details provided upon booking.

Great Getaway

The property was even nicer than listed! Very comfortable and spacious. Very clean and had everything we needed. Corey made everything very streamlined and convenient. Quiet neighborhood but a great view. Just secluded enough but yet close to shops and restaurants. Look forward to returning!

Beautiful views with all the amenities!

My husband and I enjoyed several nights at Bluebird. The house is lovely, the enclosed porch is amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. All of our interactions with the property manager were professional and prompt. An excellent stay overall. We will return for certain. Thank you.

beautiful home.

we loved the house; all the furnishing were first class and being in the home building industry the workmanship and attention to details caught my eye. check in was seamless and the views are spectacular. the family room tv is huge and the sound bar added to the experience. we would stay there again. if you had children the game room downstairs would be a big hit.

Great house, good location

The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group. There were three of us vacationing in Maggie Valley for a week over the Thanksgiving holiday. We hiked almost every day, ate at several wonderful restaurants in Waynesville, went to Asheville for a day, and made a full Thanksgiving feast. The kitchen had almost everything we needed - we did bring a few things from home. Plenty of space for the three people in my family and could easily accommodate a larger group. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, communication with Corey for a few questions was easy. Definitely recommend the house!

Maggie Valley Stay 2024

This home is beautiful, clean & the view from the balcony is fabulous! The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable & convenient. We loved the view, the coffee bar, ceiling fans in every room, comfortable beds & large screened tv’s. Even little things like nite lites were strategically located. The PAC Man game in the basement was a blast from the past. The only thing we were disappointed in was that the tv media access was thru streaming & b/c we were there during the Olympics we could not get any of the games in the evening. A minor thing really & we actually ended up playing board & card games with our granddaughter. That’s a win in our book! When we first drove up the hill to the home we were concerned that we had made a mistake renting here but upon arriving at the home we were pleasantly surprised & so impressed with the home. Corey, the property manager was easy to get in touch with & extremely personable & accessible. Upon arrival we noticed that there was no hot water. Corey made the hour drive to the property on day one to lite the pilot lite on the hot water heater. My wife loved how immaculate the home was & the fact there no throw rugs in the bathrooms, a small thing but important to her. One precaution…when opening the upstairs ensuite shower door, do so cautiously because it will hit the shower head. Also, I think there should be a few more plates & bowls in the kitchen. That said, we highly recommend this property.

Very clean and spacious. Absolutely beautiful views. I prefer a more remote quiet area. We were able to hear a lot of activity below us with the cars/traffic and sometimes sirens.

The unit was generally good and up to normal rental standards. The only issues were no clear instructions on checkout until less than 24 hours before the end of the stay and lack of a garage opener or code to use the keypad.

Peaceful with Amazing View!

This home really fit the bill for our get away to Maggie Valley. The home was immaculate, recently updated, and provided all the necessities. And that screened-in porch on the back of the house...pure magic! Early mornings and late evenings spent here soaking in the view of the surrounding mountains was the highlight of the trip. We hit a few snags along the way but Corey was always quick to respond and provide us with solutions. I would not hesitate to return to both Maggie Valley and this beautiful home.
