Excellent for the price
Decent hotel just outside of Magdeburg. The room we got was nice - not luxurious - but perfect for a nights stay. The only "issue" is that we had to pay for parking - which is kind of silly considering its a private parking space outside of the town with very few other houses in sight. They might as well just have made the price of the room a bit higher and have it as a service to their guests.

Very good value!
Short notice booking during the snowstorm. They had already cleared the parking lot of snow which was very helpful. My wife was cold so the front desk provided us with a portable heater free of charge. Take away breakfast provided was and comfortable rooms for a very reasonable price.

solid stay on the way to Berlin
I was surprised they charged as for parking. We got a twin instead of a double bed room. Beds are 80 cm wide and quite small. Everything seems clean if old. Breakfast at 2€ extra pp are excellent value. Very complete.

my husband and I had a very good rest after a long car journey. We were very encouraged to see people in Eastern Germany doing their best to update buildings, hotels, etc to Western standards. There still is room for improvement in this hotel, but we were well pleased to have chosen to stay there. Breakfast was EXCELLENT! And price for both room and breakfast VERY reasonable!

Decent stay for one night
The hotel is located in a somewhat industrial area. The room was clean but our bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. It was extremely hot and when you open the windows all the bugs and flies came in so we couldn’t sleep good at all. It would have been nice if the woman in the reception can smile a little..she didn’t seem happy to be there. The breakfast was nice and the service at the dining room was nice as well.

The price is equal the quality
The people is very friendly and helpful. But the hotel is old, it is far from the city centre and quite noisy. The hotel is near a transprovidence road which vehicles pass at 100 km/h. Even at the night, this road is crowded an the noise of the cars is not helping you sleep. The breakfast was poor. There are only basics and not much choices. The wi-fi is terrible. I mean, you just wonder in the year of 2018 how could it that bad. I heard that in some rooms there is no wi-fi at all. I had a mini bar in my room (which is empty) but my friend do not have. We had booked our rooms with the same price and checked-in together but somehow he get the worse room. When we ask about the mini bar, the staff simply said that “there is no mini bar in that room” and when we asked to change the room, they refused it by saying that all rooms are full. The bed and the bathroom were clean but the room itself is a bit dusty. There was a small tv on the wall but not with much channels. However, I managed to watch a bundesliga match at the lobby which was nice. They also have a small restaurant and a bar at the enterance.

Quiet, but a bit far from the city
The staff hardly understood any English and couldn't tell me how to catch a tram to the city. However, the room was comfortable and quiet which was very good.

Do NOT Choose This Hotel Unless You Have A Car
This hotel is actually located out on the southern periphery of Magdeburg. It's about a 2 mile walk from the farthest extension of public transportation - that's too far to walk with a 40 lb backpack. Stay instead at City Inn which is much cheaper ($35) and very near the last southern stop of public transportation.

Unpleasant stay
Didn't have good experience staying at this hotel with my family. Bad sleep. Bedding had no fresh and clean smell at all. Uncomfortable beds. Dark not very clean rooms. We didn't feel welcome at hotel. Won't stay and really wont recommend to my friends

Great motorway halt
Booked hotel as was travelling from uk to Poland and needed something cheap to rest up half way through the drive. It delivered this purpose well. Do not expect the ritz cause it isn't but you don't pay ritz prices. For the price got a decent clean room with no frills showers are good and bed comfy. The hotel is in the middle of no where so not restaurants to speak of nearby. We did go for a beer in one which was ten minutes walk away though next to the airport. Was quite cool as not really used except for parachutist and they have an old DDR plane to look at. We ate in the restaurant of the hotel not much choice all German food but cooked well not cheap but not too expensive either. All in all great motorway stop off good for the price but not a holiday destination

Nice hotel but need to improve it's WIFI
This hotel is out of town with nothing near by except countryside. This is not a problem if you have a car. The restaurant and bar serve good food and drink though and the decor is very nice. Hotel rooms are also very nice too. For a business hotel however, the WIFI does need to be better and it might depend on what part of the hotel you stay in, so ask at reception

Excellent value for the money
We got a reduction that came out to 49 euros per night for this hotel. If you are a frequent traveler you know you can't expect much for this price but this was a really good surprise. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, bedding was really good (this is my top criteria) as i need good nights of sleep. Bathroom was simple with shower but again very clean and with plenty of hot water and good smelling thick towels. We tried the restaurant on a Monday night, the prices are very fear and the food was good. The waiter was very nice and pleasant. The lobby and restaurant are newly remodeled which contrasts a bit with he rooms who are bit older style. Internet and parking was free. They asked a modest 7 Euros for the continental breakfast. This hotel is good value for your money. I will certainly stay there again.

Alles war einfach perfekt und selbst die Parkgebühren waren im vorab gezahlten Preis inclusive. Lediglich muss man sich wohl daran gewöhnen, dass ein Doppelbett in Hotel wohl nur 1,40m breit ist und ein Komfort Doppelbett 1,60m breit ist. Ich kenne es von früheren Reisen eher anders, da war ein Standard Doppelbett 1,80m breit und ein Komfortbett 2,00m und eine französische Liege 1,60m breit. Aber man hätte ohne Probleme entsprechend für einen kleinen Aufpreis auf die größere variante umbuchen können, aber wir haben es dann zuerst einmal mit der 1,40m Variante versucht und es es war gut und so blieben wir bei der sehr kuscheligen Variante und hatten dort einen rundum schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft und den tollen Service. Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder.
