"We really enjoyed our stay at Joao's place. The roof terrace is such a brilliant feature with its built-in bbq and sea view. Our group spent many a day relaxing in the sun, and most evenings enjoying a bbq on the terrace. The house was very light, homely, and comfortable, including a games room with pool table and table tennis, which we also regularly enjoyed. It was very clean and tidy upon arrival. "Paulo is a great person and was very helpful , giving us all the information about things to do in the area. The location is just perfect. A vibrant village, with character and the house is located in a quiet part of it, close to the beach. The house is super comfortable and beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, rooms and social area spacious and very well decorated. I can't think of a better place to stay"

"The staff, especially Mathilde and Sarah were amazing. There was nothing they didn't help me with, advice about places to go and how to get there, and providing a transfer service to the airport. The atmosphere at the backpackers was very laid back which translated to all the guests mixing together in a relaxed manner. Certainly somewhere I'd stay again if the opportunity arose."

"We had an enjoyable and relaxing week at Casa Lagoa. The pool and the kitchen of the cottage have both been improved since the pictures on the home and away site so it was even better than expected. Plenty of places to visit in the area and a short drive to several beaches - highly recommended."
