Charming and romantic

This is a charming quaint hotel that is also quite romantic. The room we had was lovely but small and cozy really meant for a couple and perhaps not suited for traveling friends as the bathroom was actually part of the room with frosted glass for the only privacy. We loved the included breakfast and the location was in the heart of Ericeira. Parking was nearby but not really at the location, but within a block so not that big of a deal.

We were blown away by this property on arrival. It exceeded our expectations. Fabulous original decoration, very clean and everything you could need. Staff were all friendly and the breakfasts were excellent (we especially appreciated the pack up breakfast in our last day). Our large balcony was very appreciated and the central location was ideal. Some areas need some care especially the rooftop - it would have been lovely to sit up there for the views but it wasn’t very appealing or clean. Otherwise, we loved our stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

It was was definitely a very unique property. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was small but well thought out. Having said that it was an old Portuguese property in the delightful old town so space was limited. Not so easy to find on first attempt but very well situated in respect of access to the old town and the waterfront. Enjoyed it very much
