Madrid Centro
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3 reviews)
"Great place to stay, walking distance to many activities nice kitchen and washer/dryer. felt very safe even though it was ground floor. Could have used some directions in English for washer/dryer and stove but we figured it out. One issue I had was trying to get door access code in advance - we travel without phone service so I rely on wifi - did not get door access codes until day we were on train to Madrid (lucky train had wifi). So it all worked out but would have preferred to have access...

A historic hotel gives guests the opportunity to stay in a place that's been officially recognised with a national historic designation.
