A great place for me.

This worked great. A nice neighborhood to walk around, with a cafe downstairs and the food coop next door. It's the opposite side of town from the university, but the conference center and business center is 1.3 miles (a 25-minute walk), and for those on public transit, there's a bus stop just outside the door.

This is an easy and comfortable place to stay at a great price. Had everything I needed and I loved the free coffee at the cafe the next morning. Cute place to sit, sip and get work done or chat. Would stay again.

Great Inn in a Great Neighborhood

What a great place in a terrific neighborhood! I love the self check in and the communications via texts from the staff were timely and complete. I only wish coffee was available earlier in the morning but that's a me problem. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was such a pleseant surprise and a perfect place to stay in Madison. Check in was simple and efficient. The room was spacious and clean and while it doesn't feel like a traditional hotel, it also doesn't feel like an AirBnb. It's a perfect mix between the two and all three of us couldn't be happier with our experience. We will certainly be checking in with The Marquette when we come back to Madison

Can’t beat the location!

About as in the heart of Madison as you can get at a great price! Saw most of the local sites on foot! The lack of human contact takes some getting used to, but I had no reportable issues. Well, except the air conditioner had an annoying high pitched whine but it was cool enough to turn off at night.

Great neighborhood hotel

The hotel is wonderful. The self check in was super simple. I had a very large third floor room. New bathroom fixtures, bed comfortable and appreciated the mini fridge for my left overs from a local treasure of a restaurant. Walked to my concert at the Sylvee and took a quick Uber back.Only downside was I ordered breakfast for the room and they lost the order. I eventually just grabbed my stuff and went down to the cafe. The girl was super nice and I just decided to dine downstairs. Waiting for my chai waffle. Hope it's worth the wait!

Too expensive for the conditions provided: more than 300 CAD per night for Sep 8 - 11 weekend. One of the bed sheets was previously used and it was not changed. We had to sleep without covering bed sheet and to ask to be changed the next day. The breakfast was not free as advertised. They had just coffee and pastries and you could have breakfast (eggs, pancakes) for a charge. Noisy at night - 12.30 am noise in the room above. No reception - no phone number provided (just email). You cannot contact anybody if there are problems.

It is terrible. I made a reservation through Expedia. However, I canceled the reservation very next day with Expedia. Expedia emaild me that they contracted the hotel, but I could also call the hotel & cancel it. I thought I don't have to do anything since Expedia contacted. In 2 weeks later, I got a credit card statement. Yet, I didn't see the refund. So, I called the Expedia. They said they were going to contact the hotel. At the same time, they gave me a hotel phone number like before. At that point, I called the hotel. The hotel told me that they have a 50% return policy if the reservation didn't cancel in a week even though I had about 7 week head for the reservation. Anyway, the hotel refund 50%. I complained Expedia, but just taking my time & emotional irritation. From now on, I am firmly decide that I would not make any farther reservation with Expedia. Plus, I will stay in a well known place that has a resonable policy.

I was initially nervous when I read that the hotel did not have their own parking area, but it was super easy to find spaces on the street, right in front of the property. The check-in process was simple — I received a text with the access code and I was able to get in without any problems or fuss. The room was spacious and clean and had everything I needed. I will definitely book again.

We stayed in the ground floor unit in the back, designed for accessible travelers so quite roomy. It was clean, basic, and comfortable. There was some early morning street noise, not the hotel's fault, otherwise we slept fine. Never saw a human, but we didn't need any assistance. No frills, great location for us, a good value.
