"Everything was great other than, should be more info about dangers of using that particular slide in the pool. I'm 250lbs and hit the bottom of the pool very hard, causing a groin injury that is still affecting me 4 days later. Wife is only 100 lbs but hit the bottom 5 out of 6 times she went down, luckily not injuring herself. Something could be done to slow it down since it is too shallow for the speed of it."

"This is a motel a little off the beaten path in Lunenburg. The rooms were clearly remodeled quite recently, very clean, with keypad entry which was very convenient. Beds were very comfortable, more so than the beds in the big hotel we stayed at in Haifax. Cleaning staff was available each morning. Check in done online, with an easy checkout. Will definitely stay there again."

However the staff at the Brigantine bent over backwards to find us a cot - which they did. Also when finding out that we were traveling with my elderly parent and there was no elevator, they offered to help us carry our luggage up the stairs. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Frank & Val's place on Heckman's Island. The river is so peaceful to wake up to at sunrise with the sound of loons, and we were also greeted each dawn by deer quietly roaming around the cottages. There were lots of great movies for the kids to enjoy, and we really appreciated all of the complimentary, organic & unscented amenities provided in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Highly recommend this location for your stay in the Lunenburg area!"

"We had a wonderful time in this beautiful little cottage. Easy walking distance to quaint village. Very nicely decorated and everything was spotlessly clean. So quiet and peaceful.
