Spectacular!
The most beautiful view we have ever had in a VRBO property! It would be hard to find another place in Madeira that could top this Villa. Clean, modern, great beds, and a wonderful pool, + the sunset. Alfredo + Celia were great hosts! After a day of touring the island we couldn’t wait to get back and relax at this wonderful residence!

Simply perfect
My family and I stayed at Casa Felix for 2 glorious weeks. The villa is amazing. Very well thought out use of space, well equipped, spotlessly clean and was a perfect base for our holiday. The view from every window and terrace is breathtakingly beautiful. The pool is lovely and we spent many days and evenings sitting out looking out to sea. Location is excellent to visit many lovely sights and around 35 mins from the airport. We were very glad we chose Calheta as our base with the lovely sand beach. Be warned, you will need a car to get around and would recommend something bigger than a 1.2 to get around hilly Madeira. We had a little trouble locating the villa but Celia was amazing and came and met us. Communication with Celia and Alfredo was excellent from the moment we booked. We will 100% return to this villa in the future and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Celia and Alfredo.

Stunning property
My partner and I and another couple stayed in early April 2023 and were so pleased with the property and friendly hosts Célia and Alfredo. The property has multiple balconies and a terrace, all with spectacular views of the sea with Calheta below. The villa is modern with great facilities and there is a good Pingo Doce supermarket and multiple restaurants down by the harbour. Our friends had never visited Madeira before and were very impressed by this accommodation and Madeira overall. Highly recommended 😊

Fabulous Place
The house is even better than the pictures - if that is possible! We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the views. Would advise that you need a car to stay here as it's about 45 minutes from Funchal and nothing is within walking distance of the house. For us, it was no issue as we had a car and were comfortable driving on the twisty, steep roads. If you are looking for a wonderful, relaxing holiday away from the crowds then this is the place for you! Recommend it highly.

Beautiful property with amazing views
This property is one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed at and looks exactly like the pictures - the owners obviously take very good care of it. Amazing views into the ocean, and everything you could need is provided. The owners are lovely to deal with (welcome pressie and even had Easter treats dropped over). Ten minute walk downhill takes you to the seafront where there are 7-8 nice restaurants and 2-3 bars / cafes. Good supermarket also on the seafront with taxi rank next to it and 2 man made sandy beaches. Worth noting the villa is high up on a very steep road, walking up to it takes some doing (we used the taxis). If taking a car strongly recommend that you meet the owners at the local petrol station they suggest as our sat nav struggled to find the property. We ended up parking on a bigger road about 200m further up the hill from the villa to avoid the very steep single lane road that the villa is positioned on. Will definitely look to go back as it really is a stunning property.

Wonderful view
The property was very clean and in impeccable order! The kitchen had all we needed ond the view was beautiful. A good food store near by. However the drive to the apartment was a bit difficult the last couple of hundred meters.

Great view and great house
All is said in previous reviews but once more - view is amazing. House is just perfect for two couples. Very quiet area, bit hard to find but thanks to wonderful Celia & Alfredo we made it - next time we’ll follow the given directions not gps!

Perfect house with the best view
We a familiy of four (two small kids) really enjoyed the stay at casa felix. The house was perfect. It was clean with all equipment needed and the view was fantastic both in sun and rain. Almost everyday a rainbow appeared and the kids loved it. The November weather in Madeira is not always sunny and warm but it did not matter as the house just made a great platform and we could always relax in the sofa under the blankets when it rain and the pool got to cold😊

Lovely clean modern villa
Had a great stay at the villa. Enjoyed the panoramic views of the sea from every window. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and the generous welcome basket of local produce with the best honey cake I have tasted was very much appreciated. A great place to stay to explore Madeira - although some days we just stayed at the villa enjoying the villa, sun, views and pool. The villa faces west so has great sunsets over the sea but no morning sun. However, Calheta beach, viewable from the villa at the bottom of the hill, is a great place to have breakfast, have a morning dip and catch the early morning sunshine - was never busy. The villa is very private and quiet and overall is excellent and I would recommend a stay here!

perfekte Unterkunft
Die Fotos entsprechen voll und ganz der Realität. Das Haus war einfach perfekt, der beheizte Pool, die Grillterasse, der Ausblick genial, wir haben die Woche wirklich genossen. Und von den netten Vermietern hat es ein Willkommenskorb mit Wein, Obst etc. gegeben.

Einfach traumhaft!!!
Wir haben schon sehr viele Urlaube in Ferienhäusern verbracht. Das Haus hat aber alles getoppt, was wir bisher hatten!!! Lage, Ausstattung und perfekte Gastgeber, die uns sehr nett empfangen haben. Wenn es 6 Sterne gäbe, das Haus hätte es verdient. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll und hochwertig. Alles war blitzsauber. What a dream
We have spent two fabulous weeks in Casa Felix and enjoyed every second. The pool is perfect and just at the right temperature. The sunsets that we enjoyed during some BBQ on the terrace are nothing but spectacular - it’s a great perfect place to explore a marvelous island. We’ll be back someday that’s for sure. Wonderful location with a perfect view over the sea!
A very nice well kept house in a perfect location. Celia and Alfredo are always available and take care immediately if there are any problems. The house has a lot of steps, but I guess that's the way it is in Madeira, as it's very steep everywhere, including the streets. The only small criticism is the furniture outside. The chairs are very uncomfortable as they are very small and there are no seat cushions. A table and chairs on the pool level would also be great. Still, 5 stars!

Tolles Appartement mit einem super Ausblick
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und das Appartement entsprach genau der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Wir haben selbst gekocht und gegrillt weil alles auch dafür vorhanden war. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sehr nett und mit Tips nicht sparsam 👍. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden alles absolut empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Traumhaftes Haus mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick!
Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum! Der Ausblick von allen Terrassen ist absolut atemberaubend! Der Infinity-Pool (26 Grad) setzt dem Ganzen noch die Krone auf - man kann sich nicht sattsehen! Das Haus geht über 3 Ebenen, ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, picobello sauber, es fehlt an gar nichts. Wir haben uns jeden Tag gefreut, wieder ins Haus zu kommen und haben auch stets dort gegessen - gegrillt, gekocht - was auch immer - wir wollten dabei einfach den fantastischen Ausblick auf den Atlantik genießen. Die Gastgeber Célia und Alfredo sind zudem super lieb und hilfsbereit. Wir werden wiederkommen - ganz bestimmt!

Beautiful Casa Felix
Casa Felix is a perfect holiday home in the southwest of Madeira. Located on top of a cliff it provides stunning views of the sea and the surroundings. It has 3 balconies and 2 terraces, one including an infinity pool - it’s perfect for outdoor living. The house is perfectly equipped to host up to 4 adults.

Urlaub im September auf Madeira in "Casa Felix"
Das Objekt verfügt über mehre Bäder, mehrere Terassen, 2 Schlafzimmer und eine sehr geräumige Wohnstube mit offener Küche. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und sehr schön und aufs modernste eingerichtet und sehr behaglich. (...nicht das wichtigste in einem Urlaub aber dennoch vorhanden: 3 Flachbildfernseher mit deutschen Kanälen) Wifi funktioniert tadellos und ist kostenfrei. Casa Felix verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz für einen PKW oberhalb des Hauses direkt am Grundstückseingang. Das Haus ist direkt am Felsen in Hanglage errichtet und ist daher über mehrere Etagen gebaut, was etwas Treppensteigen mit sich bringt. Der dazugehörigen Pool, welcher eine grandiose Aussicht auf den Atlantik bietet ist auf der unteren Terasse platziert. Einfach herrlich dort die Seele baumeln zu lassen! Die Vermieter Célia und Alfredo sind sehr nette und liebenswerte Menschen, denen wir gerne wieder begegnen wollen. Von Calheta aus kann man die Insel gut erkunden. Funchal liegt ca. 40 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Zum Flughafen eine knappe Stunde. Wir möchten uns hiermit nochmals bei unseren Vermietern für diesen schönen Aufenthalt bedanken, Yves und Sylvi

Traumhaus mit einzigartiger Aussicht
Wir waren 2 Wochen in diesem tollen Haus und haben es sehr genossen. Es hat an der Ausstattung an nichts gemangelt und Sauberkeit war top! Insgesamt 4 Toiletten, 2 Bäder und 2 Schlafzimmer. Jedes Zimmer hatte noch einen kleinen Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge und die Sandbucht Nahe der Marina. Unvergleichlich der Infinity Pool und der fantastische Meerblick. Mit Meer rauschen aufwachen wird uns definitiv fehlen.Es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants in der Nähe und zu den Ausflügen war es nie länger als 25-40 Minuten Fahrzeit. Wer Ruhe und Erholung in gechillter Umgebung sucht ist hier genau richtig! Wir kommen gerne wieder

Toller Urlaub in einem Haus mit Mega-Ausblick
Wir haben 10 wunderbare Tage im Casa Felix verbracht. Der Ausblick ist einfach sensationell! Wenn man morgens aufwacht und aus dem Fenster schaut, meint man, man ist direkt auf dem Meer! Einfach toll!!

Wanderurlaub Madeira
Wir hatten 11 erlebnisreiche Urlaubstage auf der Insel Madeira, kombiniert mit einem tollen Ferienhaus !!! Der persönliche Empfang durch Alfredo einfach nur mega nett. In der Küche stand ein Empfangskorb mit diversen leckeren Sachen sowie eine Flasche Rotwein für den abendlichen Genuss auf einer der Sonnenterassen. Das Haus war blitzeblank sauber, die Küche mit Utensilien 1a ausgestattet, da fehlte es an nichts. Sogar ein Bettwäsche/Handtuchwechsel wurde durchgeführt. Der Pool beheizt, top gepflegt. Ab Mittag bis zum Sonnenuntergang kann man die Sonne auf einer der 4 Terassen/Balkone geniessen, einfach nur mega. Wir waren 1/2 Tage aktiv und haben jeden Nachmittag unsere freie Poolzeit genossen. Ein Auto ist notwendig, da fussläufig der Ort Calheta durch steile Strassen einiges zu Fuss abverlangt. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich, steil bergab, schmale ,1 Autobreite Strasse ( gelegentlich Gegenverkehr ), für routinierte Autofahrer kein Problem, man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Ein Tipp, das Auto sollte nicht zu gross sein. Einen lieben Dank nochmals an Celia und Alfredo das ihr die Überweisung meines Strafzettels durchgeführt habt, eine tolle Hilfe. Die Beschreibung und Bilder des Hauses im Prospekt entsprechen zu 100%, manches war live noch schöner, Danke für die schöne Zeit Annett und Klaus

Mooi uitzicht maar steil
Het uitzicht is geweldig, een ruim en clean (wat kil) appartement, met wel alle voorzieningen. Maar… besef wel dat de weg bergop een lange steile klim is, er wordt erg hard gereden. Het laatste stuk ik juist weer bergaf, erg steil (25%/14 graden!), erg smal en notabene tweerichtingsweg! Besef ook dat de hoofdweg van vliegveld naar caltheta voor ca 70% bestaat uit tunnel, slecht verlicht en donker.

Casa Felix ein Ort der Ruhe und Erholung, in einem wunderschönen Ambiente
Wir haben die 12 Tage in diesen perfekten Casa sehr genossen. Das Haus ist optimal für 2 Paare. Vom Haus, ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Danke Celia und Alfredo für diese wunderbare Zeit in eurem Casa, in einer verrückten Zeit.

Schönes, ruhiges Ferienhaus mit tollem Ausblick
Wir haben im Oktober 2021 unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Objekt sehr genossen. Das Haus war bei Ankunft sehr sauber, der Kontakt mit den Eigentümern / Verwaltern sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus besticht durch eine schöne und ruhige Lage und ist gut eingerichtet. Ein Mietwagen ist unserer Meinung nach zwingend notwendig, da Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Strand etc. sonst fußläufig nur sehr mühselig aufgrund der Höhenlage erreichbar sind. Ein entsprechender privater Parkplatz steht den Gästen zur Verfügung. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt unsererseits sind die für uns etwas zu harten Matratzen. Wir würden bei weiteren Madeiraurlauben dieses Objekt auf jeden Fall wieder in die engere Auswahl nehmen. Viele Grüße, Claudia und Andy

Eine großartige Villa
Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Küche bietet mehr, als man benötigt, die Terrassen sind sehr großzügig gestaltet, die Sanitäranlagwn waren sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Auch die Betten sind angnehm, aber der Blick aufs Meer aus allen Räumen und vorallem die Nähe zum Ort Calhet machen den Aufenthalt erst zum ausgesprochenen Luxus.

Wonderful stay
I don't know what to say beside "Wow !". If you think that the pictures seem nice, just wait to see the view in real life. Everything was perfect : the communication with Celia and Alfredo, the welcoming basket (highly appreciated), the house was cleaned, well equipped and the view is truly amazing. You won't be able to stop staring from the house (and its balconies, patio) and especially from the swimming ! We highly recommend Casa Felix !

Estadia Casa Félix
Durante 5 dias tivemos o privilégio de desfrutar desta casa. A proprietária recebeu-nos com toda a simpatia e disponibilidade o que nos proporcionou momentos únicos. Uma casa bem localizada com magnifica vista numa piscina única. Muito bem equipada. Não faltou nada para umas férias relaxantes. Fomos presenteados com produtos locais de excelente qualidade. Quero ainda mencionar a simpatia dos Madeirenses ao receberem quem os visita Ficará no nosso roteiro quando voltarmos à Ilha da Madeira. Muito obrigado

What a place! Breathtaking!
Casa Felix is a breathtaking place! Where shall we start? The view: Breathtaking view with nice sun sets. The equipment: Very, very, very well equipped! A huge number of dishes, towels, blankets, … more than you need. Everything we wished, we found in the house. NOTHING was missing. The house: A lot of nice places to sit/relax. very clean The owner-Family: Very friendly and helpful even if we made a mistake! They came in less than 15 minutes to help us! The ocean: You really are able to hear the waves of the ocean. At least in our ears like music! My wife said: No need to go out of the house, the house itself with its view and the pool is already enough to relax.

Traumurlaub!
An diesem Ferienhaus gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Wir hatten eine traumhafte Woche in einem unglaublich schönen Haus. Der Ausblick und der Pool sind ein absolutes Highlight. Das Haus hat den eh schon sehr schönen Urlaubsort Madeira perfekt gemacht. Sollten wir wieder nach Madeira kommen kehren wir hier wieder gerne ein. Vielen Dann für die Gastfreundschaft.

Traumhafter Urlaub mit Superpool
Das Haus ist sehr schön und mit allem ausgestattet, was win Traumurlaub braucht. Der Pool mit dem Blick ist der Hammer, zumal er nicht einsehbar ist. Auch ein toller Grill und eine Waschmaschine sind vorhanden. Ich mochte die kleinen Balkone für den Kaffee am Morgen besonders gern. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und haben sich um jedes Problem schnell gekümmert. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung!!

Super Ausblick mit Pool.......

Diese Ferienvilla liegt hoch über Calheta und hat einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Ein wunderschöner Pool lädt zum Baden ein, natürlich mit perfektem Blick aufs Meer. Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen, wunderbar!

Traumhafte Unterkunft mit Meerblick
Traumhaftes Haus mit Terrasse und Infinitypool, alle Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. Es fehlt einfach an nichts, und Celia war so lieb und hat uns für den Anfang mit Lebensmitteln versorgt, da wir erst spät gelandet sind und auf das Ergebnis des Covid-19 Tests warten mussten. Es ist alles genau wie auf den Fotos und beschrieben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!
