Check in consists of a lockbox hanging out of a tree on the footpath outside the place. I hated it as I was there alone and it was getting dark. Place was clean but lots of scuffs and wear and tear. There’s a nightclub nearby which was very loud throughout the night. Most annoyingly was that there was no tv in the bedroom.

"The reception did not have my contact details from Wotif who did not pass it on to Mercure. So when we arrived, they told us they could not check us in due to plumbing problems. No rooms were available. They eventually sweetened the situation with a free dinner and moved us onto Quest apartment."
