"A great off grid getaway.Very secluded private setting in nature. Beautiful setup. Outdoor shower was a highlight with the view of the trees and the sky. BBQ worked great. Host was very attentive to ensure battery remained charged and there was enough water for the stay.Eggs delivered by the host ALL had the most brightest orange yolks. A nice contrast from store bought.Located within short drive to explore the area's natural beauty and local amenities."

"This is a motel-style establishment, with parking at your front door, in a small town east of Algonquin Provincial Park where we had spent the afternoon. The place is a bit rustic, and could use some sprucing up, but our room was clean and comfortable. And the price was right. Decent accommodations for an overnight during the busy tourist season!"

"The cottage was spacious, peaceful and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Paugh Lake after 20 years; lovely to find it still clean, calm and relaxing. Sorry that we missed the opportunity for a sunset cruise offered by our hosts. Randy and Christine were also very responsive to our requests.We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. My 7 year-old grandson kayaked for the first time and was a real natural. We are hoping to re-visit "Gramma's on the Lake" in the future."

"Tom’s rustic cabin was a lovely stay.Amenities were exactly as advertised, and the availability of two kayaks was a great surprise. The area is quiet and peaceful, with a small lake that’s still big enough to explore and enjoy. Views are great, and the night sky is incredible.The kitchen has everything you need, and the washroom/shower is clean with good water pressure and reliably hot water. Overall, a comfortable, relaxing spot. I would happily return."

"Beautiful spot for our family, lots of toys and great for my 2yr old grandson for swimming. Water is knee deep for a long ways out. Would definitely book here again next year"

Beautiful on the Water Year Round Cottage Awaits

"Beautiful Cottage and property overall. The water was fast moving during our stay so kayaking was not an option, luckily there was a trampoline on site and plenty of space to hang a volleyball net. The only issues we had were the previous users of the fire pit leaving plastic and beer cans inside the pit, and the BBQ/jacuzzi being unusable for us. Our most basic amenity of running water was also paused for hours due to a power outage, and unfortunately there wasn't any backup power. I suggesti formally move the check in time to 3pm. Overall great cottage: 4.0 to 4.5 stars out of 5, "
