Your vehicle would only be needed if you planned day trips outside the area or to visit the International Dark Sky Park or go to the Jack Pine Lumberjack Show.

Amazing cottage for a getaway

Huron breeze cottage is the perfect getaway for a few days in northern Mi. The cottage is perfect to walk downtown and to catch the ferry and super easy to access to the freeway and to the UP. We will absolutely stay again next year!

Huron Breeze Cottage-Wonderful

Beautiful cottage, fully stocked with all our needs and extremely clean. Easy walking distance to downtown shopping and either ferry line. The only downfall were the beds were a little to firm for us. Also the ferry shuttles with the trailers driving back and forth on the side street were a bit noisy.

We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights while visiting Mackinaw Island and the UP. It is very close to the ferry. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were impressed with the coffee and filters provided. Terry was very responsive to my questions about things to do and made suggestions that were great! Highly recommend.

Adorable house in very convenient location. We were able to bike to the bridge and bike or walk to the ferry and town. It’s on a busier street but that really didn’t bother us as things quieted down at night.
