Wasn't impressed
We were given the first room at the top of the metal stairway. Clang, clang, clang in our room every time someone went up or down the stairs. Room was painted a dark, depressing blue color. Carpet was torn up. Toilet and shower area of the bathroom is tiny, shower head was too low for even me (5'4"), and the toilet paper roll is located on the wall behind the toilet blocked by the shower curtain. No housekeeping happens on an "extended stay" (we were there for 3 days), So don't throw your towels on the bathroom floor thinking they'll get replaced or that your bed will get made during your stay here. Might as well be at home.

Better than expected
Cute little place a couple blocks away from the "main strip" I guess you could say and I must say it was better than expected. I booked the hotel based off other reviews compared with price and I definitely got the best bang for my buck. Arriving there I was a little nervous it could use a little exterior upkeep but the room and tavern/restaurant itself was very nice. The staff was extremely nice and best of all the was the food, best food in town. After our couple day stay and trying to eat several different places we kind of asked ourselves why did we even go anywhere else to eat! If it were closer to the main strip it would be the most crowded place I bet. I highly recommend it.

Run away as fast as you can!
We had to enter the building several times before we actually found someone to wait on us, and then they had to find some one else. Once we got the keys and climbed the dangerous stairs, we found a room that smelled and was stuffy,and I needed to use the bathroom and ther was urine stains on the seat, so I looked under and it was much worse. There was a layer of dust on the back of the toilet top and the vanity had dust and small bugs. So we went and got a refund and left!

Had to hop in the car and drive to Breakfast a Go Go for coffee as there was none in the room and the Embers and office was closed at 7:15 on a Saturday morning???

People : We were greeted nicely. And the staffs were nice. - Score 4/5 Facility : The room was big and there are no furniture except 2 bed and a night stand. The huge entertainment center was not usable at all. Without chair and table it was hard for everyone (2 senior citizens and an infant) to climb on the high raised bed to sit. - Score/5

Great value!
Great place. Affordable, big room, adjacent to the ferry, and close to dining/tourist options downtown. Turn down service didn't make the bed, but this is totally negligible. Great place--would absolutely recommend!
