It was awesome to have the beach and view of Mackinac Island and the bridge right out our doorstep. "Our stay was May 2024, we had a two bedroom suite with lake view. The second bedroom was dark with zero windows and right at the room door. The jacuzzi tub did not work, and there was no plug. We asked for plug and instead of handing me the plug they said the maintenance man would need to bring it up to the room. An hour later he did. Just handed it over and left. At check out we were told the jacuzzi controls were on the wall across the bathroom! There were Cheetos on the bathroom floor at...

"The rooms were clean but the mayflies were everywhere, certainly not the fault of the establishment but it did detract from the experience."

"We absolutely loved the dog otis, but were sad they don't share breakfast with other hotels anymore and slides should be fixed or replaced and pool area fixed up. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly. Other then some pool area maintenance badly needed the hotel was great!! "

After closing our own pool we didn't consider theirs would be open and from what we heard was great. The breakfast leaves a bit to be desired as granola bars and coffee is not a breakfast but I never rely on hotels to offer much."
