Log cabin in stunning southern Snowdonia woodland.

A lovely log cabin on a private site of 24 acres set in a natural temperate woodland with just 5 other cabins, part of the southern Snowdonia national park. Surrounded by hills, an excellent base for walkers, mountain bikers ("Climachx" trails & Red Bull "Hardline" down hill), bird watchers, military aircraft spotters. Just a short walk through the trees to the village, and scenic river. A peaceful place to stay, relax and supercharge your self.
Just step outside the log cabin to experience the 'Dark sky'.
The space
Open lounge/diner, with kitchen off. Three separate bedrooms (two double and one bunk bed) sleeping up to six people. No bed linen or towels provided.
Well behaved dogs by arrangement.
All electric cooking and heating, hence no carbon monoxide alarm.d
Guest access
The log cabin is set within a natural temperate woodland and you can use the numerous paths to explore.
Other things to note
There is a step up into the cabin, which may be difficult for less able bodied visitors.

Please note that we do not provide bed linen or towels, as we're not on site.
If bringing bikes please let me know.

We have an EV charger on site for guests to use.

wonderful woodland retreat

lovely and quiet, close to the village with easy access along the woodland path, host was very good with information and the lodge was perfect for our needs, all the things you need for a lovely stay and everyone we met in the village and other lodges were so friendly.

Lovely rural getaway

We booked the cabin as a getaway to do some walking in the Welsh mountains. The cabin was perfect for us, a room each for the kids and although compact was comfortable and fulfilled all that we needed. The cabin is one of six set in a woodland area and while we were there surrounded by Rhododendrons in full bloom.Karen was in contact throughout the booking process and very approachable with any questions. Definitely recommend and will definitely look to book if we decide to head back to the area in the future

Stinkend huis

Bij binnenkomst stonk het binnen vreselijk. Na 2 dagen luchten werd het beter. De bedden zijn heel smal en er ligt een plastic matrashoes op zodat het heel erg zweterig is. De handdoeken gaven pluisjes en haren af. Wij hadden niet verwacht dat er meer huisjes naast elkaar stonden. De ligging is geweldig. De douche is heerlijk.
