No towels provide, bed was unmade on arrival, hot tub was not cleaned let alone heated for arrival. Was definitely not as advertised, a break to relax and recharge. Shocked Expedia continue to list."

No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. "It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning."

"We had a really enjoyable stay here as a family. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, which set the tone for the whole trip. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the beds in particular were excellent. The bathroom was spotless, and the toiletries were a nice touch that made it feel a bit more thoughtful than the usual budget offering. WiFi was reliable throughout and the TV worked well, which kept everyone happy in the evening. Breakfast was the one area with room for improvement. The food itself was fine, but the buffet could have done with closer monitoring. A few items ran low and were not topped up quickly, and at one point there were no clean plates available. Nothing that spoiled the stay, just a small thing that would lift the experience if the team kept a closer eye on it. Overall a comfortable, well kept hotel with friendly staff. We would happily stay again."
