"We were in Cape Breton for the Celtic Colours festival. The Bras d'Or Lakes Inn was a lovely place to stay. Wendy (front desk) was warm and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the property is pet-friendly. There is a really nice canal walk minutes from the hotel. Highly recommended!"

"The charming home and property were lovely, and we felt at home and comfortable here right away. We are grateful that our little dog, Maggie was welcomed as well. "I love how this motel is located at the mouth of Cape Breton and right by the ocean. Unfortunately it's also beside a railway track. If like me, you can sleep through the train noise throughout the night, it's actually a nice comfortable place to stay. I also appreciate that we were provided plenty of toiletries."
