"Overnight stay. Stunning building, public rooms and surrounding parkland. Staff very attentive and positive. Room was very basic for such a lovely place...felt more Ibis than country house hotel - which was a bit disappointing. No tea / coffee in the room which was a surprise given the cost. Would I recommend - yes with a caveat, "

"Have stayed here many times under different ownerships. Despite always liking the hotel, I think it would be best to have a car. Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful plus a fantastic spread. Dinner though while pleasant a little limited in choice of food and wine. Doesn’t take American Express."

"The place was clean and beautiful, with a garden, living rooms, free tea service all day long, and friendly multilanguage staff. Parking is a nightmare. There is a parking lot very close, but quite expensive. Good thing you can use a bike or skate boards from the hostel, and if you have a car you can park for free in the street from 8pm till 8 am"

"Check in and check out was quick. The car park was easily accessible and easy to park. The hotel is some 3 to 4 km from the centre and there is an excellent bus service from in front of the hotel, so no need to drive. Breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable. "
