Hotels near Maassluis Centrum Metro Station

"Pro: Clean, quiet, black out curtains, decent breakfast. Cons: Arrogant, dismissive, bored reception staff at check in. I felt completely unwelcomed. That should be their job, make you feel welcome, smile. I was treated as I was bothering him, and looked just thrown a form to fill up. The hotel is worn out, ruined carpets on corridors, generally outdated, smells a little funny. I'm traveling a lot been to a lot of other Novotels, different countries, this one is low on the quality ladder."

"The hotel has been extended and the reason is clear, very warm, cosy and modern interior with polite staff (mostly women) who tend to your every need. The bar and restaurant are satisfactory for week long stays. Affordable and delicious! The rooms are modern and spacious with beautiful views and its a short taxi ride to the two closest times and the port. Would reccomend highly "

"The room was pretty basic although that was what we expected as we'd booked the cheapest room with a shared bathroom. The soundproofing of the rooms is pretty poor though - we could hear the person/people in the room next to us talking and the sound carried into our room and even earplugs didn't help. We alerted staff at about 1am who helpfully knocked on the door next door. Unfortunately, our neighbour(s) didn't take this to heart. At 1.30am I went down to reception again as we could not sleep at all because of the sounds. I asked for another room and staff were very helpful and supportive. So we slept much better once we'd moved to another room. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortuntely we had a very short night. If we had not had noisy neighbours and/if the soundproofing of rooms was better it would have been an acceptable stay in an average hotel. The beds (in both rooms) were comfy. "

"This is a beautiful home within easy walking distance of central Schiedam. The host was very accomodating and kind, and our room was very comfortable. We plan to stay here again whenever we are in Schiedam."
