"Safari Island was paradise for us, with easy access to the reef for snorkelling. Facilities were well spread out. With more than 100 guests, the resort experience felt very private. The food was exceptional and 'half board' (full international buffet breakfast and dinner) was enough for us, with our own fruit and snacks. The chefs at the buffet stations were affable and friendly. The range and quality of food is excellent. The tables had linen tablecloths and napkins and attentive wait staff...

"The Hotel was perfect. From the food to the very clean rooms, which they are cleaning every day. Also the beach was perfect which is directly in front of the hotel. The Hotel Staff was so nice and like a family with that you can speak the whole time. They are really caring about you and helping you in every way possible. The Island is also very beautiful and its also very safe and clean. I would definitely go again to Ukuhlas and to Rhantari. I also recommended it my friends"

"The resort is immaculate and the staff are incredible. super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The island is beautiful and lots of good snorkelling spots just off the beach. Rooms are immaculate, and if your lucky and leave the decking door open you may even get a wee visit from some of the local wildlife! In short could not recommend this resort highly enough, go and you will not regret it."

"We arrived during a storm in the off season and that was a difficult journey. Upon learning this the team at Sandies Bathala then did everything they possibly could to make sure the remainder of our stay was incredible and it was! We'll have memories to cherish for a lifetime. The food is delicious and varied. The staff are kind, warm and attentive. The island's features really well thought out, eco friendly and well maintained. "This is the second time I have stayed at this Hotel. The reef is amazing lots of sea life, sharks, fish, rays and the odd turtle. Island is really small you can walk round in about 15 minutes. Spa is good we had a couple of massages and were really relaxing. Food was good Tip - laundry service great $54 for unlimited washing would definately recommend Would not recommend speedboat transfer too choppy - seaplane is so much better."

villa and I really enjoyed it. The beach ones looked great as well but with the ocean ones you truly have privacy since nobody ever comes by. We purchased all inclusive but full board would have probably been enough. It depends on how much you drink. The house reef was my absolute favorite.
