"The home was a great place for a large group to gather. It was convenient to ice cream, a nice weekly concert venue, restaurants and shopping. The bedrooms were large, the beds were comfy, and the 2 bathrooms were nice. The floating dock needs repair as one corner was sinking. We would have liked to have had 2 additional kayak paddles and 2 additional life jackets so our group could have enjoyed going out in the 3 available. kayaks."

ADK Lake House Vacation, Cozy 5 Bedroom & 2 Bath

"This family friendly house made our get away with 17 month old twins and a five year old a wonderful forever memory. The "vacation house" as the five year old referred to it had lots of room for mingling together while offering a quiet place when the littles were up early and the old timers were still asleep. Nice kitchen, (2) baths, (2)porches filled all the boxes. Location was ideal - close to Old Forge but nestled into the beautiful woods. It's a place I would return to and recommend for families or couples. Kuddos to the manager too - checked to see if we needed anything, also took a call when we had a question we needed a quick answer to."

"This was our 8th annual girls trip and couldn’t have been more happy with Pawnee Pines. This home is perfectly layed with an open floor plan but you didn’t feel on top of one another. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms were all comfortable. The fire pit area is on a bit of a slant but we were still able to sit out for hours by the fire for hours each night comfortably. The back yard does butt up to Route 28, there is a decent tree line between the road and the pit but it didn’t bother us at all. We did notice some reviews said they heard traffic all night but it didn’t bother not 1 of the 7 of us. We would definitely chose Pawnee Pines for our trip next year!"

"Scheduling my time for a week at this cabin went very smoothly. The host was very responsive to my communications. The location was between Port Leyden and Old Forge so many options for outdoor recreation. We enjoyed the campfire area . The were many locations to purchase firewood. Prices a more expensive in Old Forge. If you are driving in from Port Leyden there is a seller of firewood about 8 miles from the camp who I would recommend. We took our small dog and the cabin worked out well. The Moose River across the road is beautiful to look at and swimming is a possibility. The cabin has an Adirondack feel with modern appliances ,TV and wifi that worked well."
