Come enjoy this beautiful waterfront home situated on 1 acre of private land. Perfect for 2 families; one large family or a special retreat for a couple who wants plenty of space for themselves! The property features magnificent lake views, 100' boardwalk, large dock for tying up your boat, quiet sandy beach for swimming and kayaking (we provide 2 kayaks, paddles and lifevests), two large porches, large flat lawn for outdoor activities, 4 bedrooms (two of which are private master suites), loft area with full size futon, 3 full bathrooms, an ample great room with cathedral ceilings, living room with an electric potbellied stove, kitchen, and large dining area. High speed internet/cable included.

The home has beautiful knotty pine throughout and rustic furnishings that provide a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences.

This house is perfect!! Clean, spacious and equipped with anything you need!! Loved that water was shallow and sandy for the kids to play!! Back porch was perfect at night!! Owners were great to work with!! We just got back and already booked for next summer!!

This was our 2nd year staying at this property! We won't stay anywhere else in Old Forge! The location is close to everything but still private! The furnishings and bedrooms are the perfect layout for families and the backyard overlooking the lake is nice and flat. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it right there. Will be booking every year for the family vacay!

It was a wonderful week! The location and cabin are beautiful and close to town. The yard is a large flat area…great for play area and bonfire. There is no AC, but there is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and the main room. Would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again if we were back in the area.

Beautiful home, excellent location!

The home was comfortable, immaculately clean, had great decor and a wonderful view. We used the kayaks and enjoyed evenings star gazing on the doc and relaxing at the fire pit. Best of all, though, is that my fiancé proposed to me right in the main bedroom upstairs!! Thank you and we'll definitely remember this place for life!!!

The best of everything

It's a perfect place for a weekend, week or a month. The home, the views and the hosts combine to make it a great experience. You won't want to leave, even to go to the store. :) The hosts are welcoming, responsive and professional. The town remains charming, and the lake is as great as ever.

Very nice house and lots of space. Sandy bottom shallows made for fun times with the kids. Bonus is that there were Labor Day fireworks in the harbor. 4 stars for location as the house is on the channel from Old Forge proper to the main lake (1st) but plenty wide enough feel like lake front. Dock was a plus for boat tie up. Owners were very nice and responsive.
