Charming 2 bedroom cottage in Lymington, very close to town, marina & sea walks

A charming cottage in the town of Lymington in easy reach of a wealth of activities. Comprises two double bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a double. There is a spacious lounge with woodburner. The cottage enjoys a super location, with the Georgian market town, its lovely High Street, the Marinas and Sea Wall walks within easy walking distance. Unrestricted on street parking on the road outside. There are endless activities, pubs, restaurants, walks, rides, costal walks on offer all within minutes walk or drive if wanting to explore the delights of the New Forest. Lymington and the New Forest will be sure to spoil you and hopefully so will we, making your stay a memorable one. We have ran a small Cottage approximately 4 miles from this property for over 5 years now and have achieved a five star rating and believe we know how to make guests feel welcome and also we have learnt what is important so we have applied that learning in bringing this new offering to the holiday letting market.

Sea Cottage

Very clean, well equipped cottage. Lymington is a great place to stay and the cottage is located relatively close to the town and marina. Lovely area to visit.

Lovely seaside break

This cottage was charming and was just as described. It had everything we needed and was within easy walking distance of the delightful town centre. We felt very comfortable here and had a great weekend. I would highly recommend

Ideal place for a short stay

Sea Cottage was just the place my wife and I wanted for a mini-break in the New Forest. A moderate walk from the town centre made it accessible, and car parking was easy. The cottage was clean and with excellent facilities. All our contact with Richard was helpful and friendly. We would be happy to book again.

A Perfect Stay

Everything about Sea Cottage was wonderful. It was a perfect location for exploring The New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight. The beds were perfect and we didn’t miss my own pillows a bit. Loved the shower, too! Thank you for helping making the start to our monthlong exploration of the south of England absolutely perfect!

revisiting the area

A lovely small cottage well equipped and comfortable beds and linen. Well situated for Lymington high Street which is approximately 13 minutes walk and the sea wall about the same. Easy driving time to Burley across the forest and to Avon Beach and Mudeford Quay.Nice Woodburner which made the cottage very cosy in the evenings - you need to bring your own kindling and logs. Only negative is the stairs, they are very steep which anyone with mobility issues would find a challenge.

Cosy, well located cottage

A delightful cottage for 2. The town centre, harbours, bus and train were all within comfortable walking distance. Plenty of free parking spaces adjacent to the cottage. Richard could not have been more helpful and flexible during the Covid re-booking process. A really enjoyable week discovering the town and the local area. Recommended.

Lovely cottage in great location

The cottage had everything we needed for the week; beds were very comfortable, a lovely courtyard garden which was a sun trap. It’s also close to all the amenities in Lymington (in walking distance). Richard was an excellent host; gave us concise information on the cottage, local area, dining out options and offered personal help when I experienced a problem with my car on the day of arrival. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Cosy Cottage

We had a lovely stay here. The cottage is small but has everything you need. Parking on the road outside wasn’t a problem and we got to enjoy some sun in the little courtyard garden was was a bonus in March. It is in a great location being only a short walk to the high street and water front. We would definitely recommend if you want to visit Lymington and the surrounding areas.

Short break in the New Forrest

This was a lovely property to stay at in order to visit some of the attractions that the area had to offer. The cottage was a perfect place to unwind and the town had plenty to offer with lots of dog friendly shops and pubs. All in all a great little break.

Sea Cottage, Lymington

Sea Cottage is an attractive, well appointed two bedroomed cottage conveniently situated in Lymington. The road is quiet wirh plenty of parking. The house is small but is well appointed and equipped. The stairs are steep but there is support from two handrails, one wooden, one rope. It has a patio area to the rear, which could be improved by newer furniture, a tidy up and some weeding.

Lovely cottage in great location

Lovely cosy cottage, deceptively spacious and in a great location for the town and nearby walks. Enclosed garden for our dog was ideal. Would recommend and would love to return.

Short stay

We stayed at the cottage for 3 nights. The cottage is well presented and the host easily contactable. It is only a ten minute walk into the High Street or the Marina with an abundance of shops, Saturday market, pubs and picturesque walks. We had Sunday lunch at the Kings Head which we would highly recommend. It is also only a 15-20 minute drive to the New Forest and the vineyard on the way does a fantastic fish finger sandwich. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you.

Lovely stay in Lymington

Small cottage but perfectly big enough for the 2 of us. Parking easy on street opposite cottage. Smart bathroom and power shower. Kitchen adequate for our needs. Steep stairs to bedrooms. Very convenient to walk to town, lovely independent shops and bakery. Excellent meal out at Lanes of Lymington.Great walks along sea wall to Hurst Castle, beautiful coast line. Would stay again.

Fantastic location & Cottage!

Loved the cottage and was in walking distance of the town, harbour and many dog friendly pubs and cafes! The cottage has a secure back yard which was perfect for the dogs and has hose and back gate entry ( in case of muddy paws)..lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio furniture! Beds very comfortable and the shower was great too!...would definitely recommend!
