Property was very clean fresh bedding and towels and a welcome pack with local products . Only downside was having to continual find a parking space or move car due to parking restiction .website advertised on site parking . Overall a good weeks stay in a lovely place."

"Really nice cottage. Decor was a bit dated but it was well equipped and a great location by the river, 10 mins walk to the front, and in really lovely location in a peaceful garden. Difficulties booking via Hotels.com and trying to speak to anyone. Be aware, no parking. It wasn't clear on the ad. We found a long stay car park about 5 minutes walk away. Would stay again"

"The property is an amazing old building right in the centre of town, opposite the fossil museum and a very short walk to the beach As others have mentioned it is directly above a burger restaurant, which didn’t pose an issue other than an overwhelming smell of old cooking fat in the communal entrance although isnt noticeable upstairs in the apartment The place was perfectly clean but the sofa has seen better days and the main bed was very uncomfortable. "This is a very old property and so of course it does look a little tired in places and the wifi is not so great but they were the only negatives. The hotel is in a fantastic place right in the middle of the High St and it has a car park which is a godsend. The food menu in the bar is excellent for lunches and dinner. Definitely add the breakfast as there is so much choice from cooked oprions to pastries, cereals and fruit and all of the the food was delicious. The staff were so lovely and couldn't help enough. Dawn the manager even let me use the hotel phone when I was having trouble ringing out. I would definitely recommend this place and the bed was incredibly comfortable!"

"The property was in an excellent location. Although next door to a fish & chip shop and opposite to a pub it was remarkably quiet. Only a few minutes to the beach and high street or along the river Lim. Virbo responded immediately to any queries and the dog enjoyed his stay!"

"The only main issue was car parking, or lack of it. The hotel has no parking of its own (which we knew) and although two Council car parks within yards of the hotel, yes its free parking after 5pm (if you can get a space) but between 8am and 5 pm its chargeable, but ... maximum of three hours with no return within another three hours. And parking wardens hot on over-stayers."

"Cute little home that is well loved and maintained. We loved the little gatd for coffee in the morning. The host was very communicative. It was hot and we had windows open so it was loud outside as the property is right on the street. Loved the beach cottage! Notice though that the "shower" is a actually a tub under a slanted roof with a hand sprayer. My 6'5" husband had a very difficult time with the set up. But there really isn't any sort of option with the size and layout of the bathroom for anything else."
