The Royal Lion Hotel
8/10 Good
"Location is superb - stone’s throw from seafront and in amongst all the shops, restaurants and bars. Plenty of parking on site. Our room with terrace and partial sea view was lovely. Clearly been modernised fairly recently and had everything we needed, including a fan (and a beaver!) Shower was excellent and very clean bathroom. Aside from our room, breakfast had great selection and all the staff were polite and pleasant. The breakfast room was very hot with very few windows open. Parts of the hotel are looking very tired and could do with an uplift. Games room smelled very musty. Check in and out could be better. Receptionist on phone both times (personal not business) and ended up just leaving key on desk on check out."

"Nice and quiet and comfortable"
Cobb Arms
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely breakfast with perfect views. Staff are very friendly and helpful - right in the heart of Lyme. I’ve been visiting this pub since 1990 ! first time I’ve stayed here .. spacious room was very sound proof, thick curtains but the early sun still popped thru the sides , black out blinds under would have been a bonus. Furnished nicely, however the room lacked storage. Slightly smaller chairs and a narrow drawers / wardrobe would have been more useful . Especially in the bathroom - there is room for shelving unit near the shower, something would have been really handy, as there are no surfaces to put your things on . Lovely room with a few minor tweaks needed to make longer stays a little easier :) no decaf coffee in the rooms - ask at the bar they will let you have some :) The hallway to the rooms has lovely furnishings too …just needs a tidy up, as it has bits and bobs, left here and there. Dogs are welcomed and there is a non pub entrance, for out of hours. We will be back - thank you"

Romantic hot tub getaway moments from the sea front
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful place, very convenient to shops, pubs & beach. Lovely hot tub with plenty of wood supplied. Had fab stay only negative is the bed was quite uncomfortable & noisy when you moved also bedding was very warm and sweaty as think cotton sheets are better & pillows uncomfortable for husband. All said it is very high quality standard with everything you need for short break."

Kersbrook Hotel

Rock Point Inn
8/10 Good
"We stayed in room 1 - one of their cheapest rooms - but next time I’d pay more for a sea view and quieter side. Our room faced the main high street (and public loos!) so was a little noisy and had full afternoon sun so got warm. An air con unit was provided but the Dyson fan did not work. The room was much larger than expected and due to the age of the property sloped quite a bit! Our bed was massive but could have been propped up to make it level. Pros of the property = excellent central location, great bar and restaurant with lovely views and food (the calamari, burger and sticky toffee pudding were delicious). Staff were very sweet. Watch out for seagulls!"

"Property was well located for walking into town inside facilities where good everything you needed for a good stay . Property was very clean fresh bedding and towels and a welcome pack with local products . Only downside was having to continual find a parking space or move car due to parking restiction .website advertised on site parking . Overall a good weeks stay in a lovely place."
