Fabulous location, with a solid bell bird serenade and truely dark skies. The building design, means its warm and comfortable with a great woodburner if it gets a little chilly at night. Wonderful hosts ensured a warm welcome, and exceptional communication ensured all went smoothly with our booking. Think of this place as a nest, away from everything, warm, cozy and comforting yet still connected to the world. A place to cosset the soul and recharge.

Had a great time staying in the house. The place is amazing and very relaxing. Stayed in the hot tub past midnight while stargazing. The view is breathtaking. Will surely come back next time

Absolutely bliss!
Perfect accommodation for a relaxing weekend in a the most picturesque setting. Very clean, well equiped, log burner and woodfire tub complete this accomodation. Cant wait to come back to unwind in natures finest!

A magical escape from the world
Mountains, Hot Tub ,Family, The best Dawn chorus ever, yummy food In a very comfortable, stylish setting. It was reasonably priced for the luxury that was provided and Claudine was a delight.

A magical escape from the world
Surrounded by majestic mountains, submerged in the hot tub and bathed in native bird song you will never want to leave. Plus the lodge is warm and comfortable. We loved our stay .

TOO SHORT!
We stayed for 2 nights only…but wished we had booked longer. The eco lodge was great, surrounded by stunning scenery. Unfortunately we caught a little rain but still plenty to do in the area. We found Ross & Claudine really friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and bbq was great. Regrettably we didn’t use the hot tub but looked amazing and really clean. We will definitely be staying again.

Perfect Family Getaway
This property was the perfect size for 6 adults. Plenty of room to spread out. Walks and the tennis court if you feel active, the hot tub and upper pond to relax in.

Mt Lyford Lodge
Felt a bit disappointed that we had to pay extra for the hot-tub and also wanted to enjoy it one more time before checking out at 10am, yet was not allowed to make it hot in the morning. Other than that the property was warm, beautiful, clean and inviting and in a lovely tranquil spot.

The listing states clearly that the hot tub is an extra, so this should not be a surprise. On arrival we have pointed you to the information book for instructions on the hot tub.

A wonderful place to relax
The house is incredible. So warm and yet no heating required. Quiet and peaceful. It was a joy to listen to the birdsong and sit in the hot tub whilst enjoying the night sky. If you want to get away from the rat race, this is the place to stay.

A wee gem, great for a family holiday
Lovely warm house with good facilities, amazing views and the added bonus of a hot tub. We experienced a power cut but were well looked after by the owners who visited to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. House suited us (family of 4 with 2 small children) well, will definitely re-visit in future.

Great place to stay with fantastic view's. Shame there was a fire ban in place so we were unable to use the wicked looking hot tub. Would be a fantastic place during the winter months. I'll definitely book again when theres snow around. Thanks

Our stay in mt lyford was wonderful can't get over the views, would highly recommend the hot tub, nothing better then sitting in the hot tub under the spas. Checking in was simple and straight forward. Property was very shelted from the wind. Nice to get away and just play board games and go for walks. Would highly recommend and will be back !!!

A great place to get away from it all. Hot Tub was a great way to relax and definitely recommend it. It Would be good to be able to hire a gas bottle for the BBQ.

Our family enjoyed the lodge and spa very much especially after skiing. Very beautiful surroundings and an extremely warm house.
