Lydgate Beach Tours and Activities

Overall for a local resident the staff fill my needs. However, the room was dirty and even after I requested a clean the cleaning crew still didn't did the issue I had found. There was someone's dark hair still I. The bathroom and shower and they didn't clean it after I had requested a room clean. Told me the cleaning was not really any good. Sad experience

We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here for our honeymoon and actually preferred it to the first half of our trip, when we stayed at Hotel 1 Hanalei. Again, we loved how small and intimate Koa Kea felt, and it had a calm, relaxing vibe with mostly adults staying at the property. We already can't wait to come back again for an anniversary in the future.

If you’re looking for peace, relaxation, and the authentic beauty of Kauai, this is it. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the lush mountains, listening to the waves, and enjoying the cool trade winds made every day feel like paradise. The climate was perfect for us—comfortable temperatures, fresh ocean breezes, and just enough tropical rain to keep everything incredibly green and beautiful. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality added so much to our experience. We completely fell in love with Hanalei and the North Shore. The slower pace of life, stunning scenery, amazing food, and friendly people made it incredibly difficult to leave. It was exactly the kind of relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Hanalei Colony Resort provided the perfect escape from busy everyday life. Whether we were enjoying the views from our lanai, exploring the area, or simply unwinding, every moment felt peaceful and rejuvenating. We are already planning our return trip next year. Thank you to everyone at Hanalei Colony Resort for making our vacation so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
