"I have stayed in lots of hotels in lots of places and this hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. Service was exemplary from check-in to bar staff (Hayad was beyond amazing) to the restaurant staff to housekeeping). Do not miss the breakfast buffet or the river view at dinner. Its exhausting & demoralizing, trying to keep a good mood & enjoy your trip while all Egyptians see "all tourists" as "marks". I have been all over the world to some of the most impoverished countries & never have I felt like I did in Egypt. "The only good thing about this hotel was the location, however once we checked in, we left asap because we found a cockroach in the curtains… a flying one too. We’re not picky travelers and we like to stay at economically friendly place but would not stay at a place with roaches or bed bugs. Pay a little extra to stay across the street at Pyramisa or somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place as we couldn’t even complete our stay"
